Terrible

Terrible, Frustrating, and Possibly Fraudulent Service!

I had the absolute worst experience with SquareTrade. I was charged $79.98 for a phone protection plan through my carrier. When I needed to file a claim, they hit me with an additional $93.88 service fee for a repair, after I spent tens of hours on the phone and countless emails chasing them.

To make matters worse, they declined my claim and still refused to refund the money properly. They deducted both the plan and service fees, leaving me to continue chasing them endlessly for a resolution.

This has been the most stressful and infuriating experience I’ve ever had. I do NOT recommend SquareTrade under any circumstances. Save yourself the headache—avoid this company.

Appalling service.

Appalling service.
I rang them to update my payment details and obtain invoices, as they’ve not issued any invoices for the multiple payments I’ve made. I was promised a call back with 48 hours. When I followed up, I was told use their chat!
Over one month in and several emails, still no invoices and no callback!

JB Hifi, you need a better partner! This company is ruining your reputation!

*Update: SquareTrade’s response on 13 April is another example of their unprofessional conduct. I am contactable by phone and email, yet they have not contacted me. I will not be contacting them again as I had already done this many times before writing my review, and they had failed to respond.
