Best meeting rooms for hire in bristol

I have used Square Works in Bristol for hot-desking and meeting rooms and have always been impressed. The front of house/reception team are always so polite and friendly, and are really quick to sort any problems or answer any questions I have. The facilities are great and I love meeting potential new clients/partners here as they are always impressed. Thank you Square Works!

Noisy, dusty building site over-run by yappy dogs with zero sound proofing in glass box meeting room

When we recently visited for a meeting, Square Works was a dusty and noisy building site. The glass meeting room we were given was like being sat in a goldfish bowl or drum. There is poor sound proofing, as we could every word of the people working in the offices either side and somebody using a phone room opposite with all doors shut. It was so bad. This made it difficult to concentrate on our sales pitch. The people on the other end of the zoom also struggled to hear us with the background noise from the neighbours, builders working upstairs and the yapping dogs in adjacent office suites. It's a real pity because the first impression from the website and arriving in the front reception is impressive. But, based on our experience, it comes across as a bit woke and lifestyle over substance. Certainly, it is not consistent with a place to do serious work in a quiet enviroment.

Dear Collin,

We're very sorry to hear that your first experience at Square Works did not match our very high standards. As a (fairly) new independent business, we value all feedback and since your visit, we have upgraded our soundproofing in the glassdoor offices and phone booths by including sound absorption panels and thicker glass dividers. As work has become more remote and people need quieter and more private space for virtual calls, we've had to adapt quickly. But, as with everything new, it sometimes takes time to find the right solution - and we're confident that if you visited now, you would no longer have any concerns about the noise levels whilst trying to work.

We have now doubled our occupancy and are now expanding our space to a new Georgian townhouse next door offering 6 new fully private/soundproofed phone booths and private offices. We'd love to welcome you again at Square Works and I hope you'll give us a second chance to impress you - and not just with our reception area.

Kind regards,
Kevin
