The experience from the start of the order until the service was up and running was truly effortless, there was a little glitch with the config of the service stuck at 1gbit, I emailed them and they answered in less than 10 minutes, the service was sorted within an hour up to the correct speed of 2.3gbit, very good and friendly support staff, and the installation is clean and quick and in my opinion very well priced, especially compared to my previous ISP, I get more than double the speed for £11 less a month, can't praise squirrel enough, if they stay like this I can't ever see me moving to another supplier.

I started with Squirrel in September 2025. I have the 900mbps connection, and my home is a new build, built within the last 10 years along with completely new fibre lines to my home.
In the past 2 weeks alone, I have had 3 engineers visit my home. And this has still not resolved the issue of downtime I face. Consistently on a near daily basis can experiance issues like the internet service itself going down completely for minutes or even hours on end, to dropped packets lasting a few seconds that cause games to become unplayable due to freezing on connection loss.
These issues have been happening since September. In total I have had around 6 engineers be called out since then, and the issue is still not resolved.
I do not recommend going with Squirrel, I highly suggest to go with another provider in the Hull region that does not use MS3 lines as these are not stable.
Some other issues as well, Squirrel have failed on multiple occassions to notify me of maintenance in my area which has directly affected my service, when the engineers came to look at my connection they made me aware of maintenance that occurred nearby by that could be affecting my service.
I also do not recommend squirrel because in the event you do face consistent service impacting issues, you are unable to get out of the contract if they are unable to fix it. You never know if a service will work for you or have issues, in the event it does have issues you should be able to remove yourself from the contract if they have been unable to resolve the issue after several months. Squirrel have yet to offer me this option and insist even with the significant service affecting issues lasting nearly 6 months, that I must pay the minimum contract period.
My suggestion is to go with a more established provider in the Hull region. Although the price is cheap, dont be lured in. And do your research for your specific area.

Georgia was a very helpful agent on the live chat and made setting up my new contract very easy.
I had a lot of questions regarding switching providers and migrating my service and she answered all the questions I had without an issue and adjusted my direct debit details to suit my needs.
Definitely recommend anyone to speak with her if they require a new contract or have any issues, very knowledgeable and helpful 😄

Great customer service. We switched to Squirrel from EE as they were wanting too much per month. We had a few teething issues after installation, as the engineer cut the old fibre cable off so had no internet for a few days. However, after chatting to support on the phone and online chat, the issue was quickly resolved and we were soon back online again. Thanks to Georgia for your great customer service and getting the issue resolved quickly.
It's refreshing to be able to speak to someone on the phone without being on hold for ages and then being put through to a call centre somewhere else in the world.
Would recommend to anyone thinking of switching ISP, I'm getting the same speed for nearly half the price of EE, and with superb customer service too!

After trying alternatives offering FTP internet and having issues Squirrel was a breath of fresh air.
They include a Static IP by default which helps not get issues with packet loss like other ISPs.

Everything was done on time and with no mess. Router arrived net day and was easy to install using quick start guide. Then just a case of telling all relevant pieces of equipment new password and up and running saving us over £35 a month on previous ISP.
