Breakfast pancakes disappointing

Decided not to indulge in a sweet pancake (with sauces) experience at 10am, but went for a breakfast one instead. Quick, friendly service, but the actual stack was a real disappointment.

Two large, nice pancakes with a topping of almost sauceless baked beans, dry fried egg, crispy bacon, hash brown and lorne sausage.

Every mouthful was just dry. I went through 2 glasses of water just to be able to swallow it. It was a struggle to finish it all. Some sort of moisture is needed in the recipe to make it appealing. And at £15, I felt it could have been so much better.
