We picked Stackt to provide our full moving service this summer and couldn’t be happier with the service. We selected them as their customer service on WhatsApp was great and attentive, they were very helpful. This continued with the move itself, all the movers they sent were professional, efficient, and friendly. They send you a tracking link so you know when they are turning up and they were prompt both times. They looked after our possessions and were very reasonable when we had more than we had anticipated. Couldn’t rave about them enough and would definitely go with them again for our next move :)

The service was disappointing, with delayed delivery meaning I had to hang around for nearly 8 hours waiting. I was also charged a whole additional month of storage despite having arranged for my items to be removed and was only offered a 50% discount when I queried this. Unprofessional and disappointing.
I have used stackt for two moves - from my old place into storage and then from storage into my new place. The crew were the same both times - really polite, conscientious, on time and efficient.
There was an issue in the build up to the second move. I received a call from customer service to confirm my move details three days before. When she said they were planning to send two vans I said “Last time there were three. But they weren’t all the way full so I’m sure it’s fine.” Stupid me. They then emailed me to say after careful review they “recommend” amending my quote to charge me £180 more. Keep in mind I had given them the exact same packing list both times! I politely declined. They then came back saying they “strongly recommend” the new quote to ensure they can uphold the customer service they care so deeply about. At that point I threatened to cancel and they said because we were within 48 hours of the move I would be charged half (£480). Obviously it’s not right to change a quote which I had less than 24 hours to cancel before I would be charged. I hope this was an anomaly and not standard practice. The move week is stressful enough without threats and urgent replies required! Eventually after a lot of shouting they agreed to honour the original quote and the move went ahead very smoothly with two vans! 😃

They were professional and good overall, but it's important to know what you're getting into-your items are held hostage and you can't get them or see them until they deliver them. From them: "For security reasons, our storage facilities are not open to the public, and visits to check or inspect stored items are not permitted." It takes *at least* three days to get your things, and you have to pay to get them.

I was initially drawn to Stackt due to their high ratings across platforms, though I noticed many 5-star reviews came from accounts with only one review, which raised some questions about authenticity.
Customer Service Issues:
Communication proved challenging throughout the process. The customer service team appeared to be outsourced and struggled with English comprehension, requiring multiple explanations for simple requests. Even after several attempts, I was often left uncertain about whether my concerns were understood or would be addressed.
Collection Service:
The movers who arrived for collection seemed inexperienced and came without proper equipment. They declined to use my available tools, which extended the job duration significantly and resulted in overtime charges. Whether this was intentional or due to inexperience is unclear, but it felt unprofessional.
Return and Reassembly Problems:
The return service was particularly disappointing. The team couldn't reassemble the same furniture they had disassembled, requesting photos and instruction manuals. What should have been a straightforward process took twice the estimated time. They lost screws, leaving my bed frame incomplete, and caused scratches throughout my new wooden floors. The narrow return window (12-6 PM) also meant rescheduling other services like cleaning.
Unresponsive to Complaints:
Despite reaching out to address these issues, I have yet to receive any response from Stackt's management.
Pricing Concerns:
While initially competitive, hidden costs emerged. They attempted to charge for 12 weeks of storage when I only needed 9 (later refunded after pushback), and overtime charges brought the total in line with other companies. Factor in floor repairs and repainting costs, and the final expense exceeded what a professional moving company would have charged.
Final Verdict:
Based on my experience, I'd recommend exploring other options. The initial savings weren't worth the stress, property damage, and unprofessional service. A reputable moving company may cost more upfront but will likely save money and frustration in the long run.

I got in touch and arranged for collection on the 16th of March which went good and smooth. Following that, I reached out to the team and arranged for an end of tenancy cleaning on 21/03/2025, with the team sending two cleaners to my flat. Those turned to be extremely unprofessional and requested for money from the moment they came. It went as far as one of the cleaners sending me his account details via WhatsApp after their cleaning.
Furthermore, my storage delivery has been nothing short of a nightmare. I reached out to the team on 28/04 for a redelivery and followed up with a call on 29/04 where they confirmed receipt of the payment and confirmed the delivery would be done on 03/05. No one called to say the items were not coming on 03/05, till I spoke to the team late that afternoon where they said the items were not coming till the week after.
Worth noting that the rescheduled delivery was smooth and they even allowed for me to move by a day and they offered me a 25% on delivery fee compensation plus a free 2 hour service window. However, I would have loved for my items to be here as promised rather than the compensation offered.

I used these people to move and deconstruct and reconstruct some furniture for me. I spent £2000 with them and they sent incompetent movers who couldn’t speak a word of English and couldn’t build my shelves.
When I asked Stackt for a refund. They ignored me for months. Claimed they’d give me a £100 refund which never came. And everytime I emailed or asked for a follow up, I was ignored.
Their workers even took my parking permit and I was asked to pay £60 for them to return it to me.
I’d just lost my brother and had so much to do. And they only made it worse. They’re sadly like any other money hungry London start ups. And the costs on the site are click bait. Whatever you do, if you’re offered to speak to Jessica, avoid that demon like the plague. She’s what’s wrong with London these days.

The team destroyed all of our smart devices, including a smart tv and an automatic litter box. Even after special notes to the moving stuff that the appliances are expensive and need special attention, they were still found broken. No wrap/ special protection were found.
Furthermore, the customer service team responded that they have a policy to report within 72 hours. This exists only on paper but not explicitly communicated to us verbally. It’s a hidden trap.
Our first reaction to the broken devices was trying to contact the retailer for warranty, which took us a couple of days to sort out. Wasted couple of hundreds to get the broken devices replaced with 0 compensations.
Totally irresponsible and contract based, no goodwill and accommodations. No cares/attentions for electronics. Not recommend if you are moving with expensive appliances.

Appalling service – avoid at all costs. Stackt lost my bed and mattress on moving day (28 April 2025), and almost a week later, they still haven’t located them.
I flagged the issue a week before the move after noticing that key items were missing from their inventory list. Despite repeated follow-ups, customer service either claimed ignorance or promised to respond within 24 hours—none of which happened.
They charged me for assembly services, even though there was nothing to assemble due to their mishandling. I've requested a refund and compensation multiple times, but they’ve failed to respond or provide any meaningful updates.
Since then, I’ve discovered more missing items, including a chest of drawers and a lamp, and again, no resolution or accountability.
Be warned: their standard T&Cs cap compensation at £100 per lost item, which means if they lose or mishandle high-value belongings, you bear the cost. Pursuing fair compensation would require taking them to small claims court.
This experience has been deeply frustrating and costly. I strongly recommend using another provider to spare yourself the stress and financial loss.

Very good communication with date changes and trucks arrival and tracking and keeping me informed at every stage of the process.

I was hesitant to book Stackt at first as their quote was much lower than all other companies I reached out to for a two bedroom move. I am so glad I did.
Not only were their prices outstanding, but the customer service leading up to and during the move was top notch. My specialist, Abby, was especially helpful arranging our move and making sure there were no unexpected costs the day of.
The guys that executed the move were insanely fast, but not at the price of quality. All of our furniture was wrapped and protectively packed. We were moved in nearly an hour and had no damage or loss whatsoever.
