Stanton Optical - Elk Grove Reviews 

I had to return 4 times to pick up my glasses. The computer glasses were done wrong clearly the wrong prescription and I could not see out of them. I was told to take them home and wear them, I declined and said they need to be redone. My other two pairs were not ready at all. Was called again to pick up glasses, and the two were back and computer glasses still not corrected. Came back and explained that the vision in one pair of my bifocals was still not correct. The tech a young female this time greeted me with my computer glasses in hand and said, "you never came to pick up your glasses." I looked at her and said I most certainly did and this is the 4th time coming into pick them up because things have been wrong. The head manager has been on site every single time I have been there and has never stepped in to assure accuracy or to provide customer service. I am extremely disappointed. I am a long time customer, my kids, my Mom, and I. I have had issues in the past and never complained, but this was a myriad of disasters in customer service and product management. Thank God for Armando for fixing the computer glasses and the secind pair of bifocals!!!

The staff was great and the process was fabulous. My glasses were picked up, and I did try them to see if I could read and I could, but when I got back to work, I couldn't read anything on the computer, etc... just what was right in front of my face, so I have to return the glasses and have the prescription changed. I did tell the assistant that I use them for reading and I'm on the computer all day. Also, you advertise $79 but I had to pay $179 to get lens' that were scratch resistant. I think you should automatically include these in the price and advertise the difference so people know.

I feel like they should definitely disclose online before choosing the location that there is not a doctor on site. Because I had to a $40 fee just because there wasn’t a doctor. And because I didn’t have time to wait and needed glasses same day I had to pay it. Versus if I knew I would have gone to a location that had a physical doctor

I wish I could remember her name . The tech that helped us is wonderful. She even remembered our names as we came in. She has a wonderful personality and is certainly a big reason we will return and recommend Stanton in Elk Grove. If you havent given her a raise in awhile, she definitely should be getting rewarded for being such an asset to thos store@

I got bifocal lenses and they are not fired correct if I put my head back Ill be looking out of my reading part of my glasses.The reading part is to big.

The selection of 2 for $135 is very limited. I had to pay extra just to get a pair of glasses tinted for sunglasses. There was only a couple of sunglass frames to choose from which were awful. I am retired and on a fixed income. it was more than i had expected to pay, but i needed new ones!! When i came to pick up the person just handed me my glasses and said to have a good day. She did not ask if they felt ok and how the fit was. I will have to make another trip back to get them adjusted.
