Disorganized and no respect for your time.
To be clear, this review covers ALL of my visits, not just the last.
The ladies at the front desk were very polite and profession. The entire setup however left much to be desired. Wait times were ridiculous. I schedule an appointment, but still wait 60-90mins to be seen by the technician, and then another 30-60mins to be seen by the doctor? OUTRAGEOUS!! Some of us have to take time off of work for this joke, at least act like you understand that.
The doctor, I don't even know his name, because he is aiming to be the next mumble rapper or something. I had to repeatedly ask him to speak up or repeat himself. He still hand writes prescriptions, but they had to translate the damn handwriting. Furthermore, my newest eyedoctor spent a couple of passes looking at my eyes with that bright ass light. He took so many passes my eyes were watering profusely, which was to be expected, but that was ridiculous.
The "front desk" is not at the front either, so unless you know where to check in, your first experience is awkward as you're left wondering where to check in for a few solid minutes, because it isn't always occupied to determine.
Last but not least, I went in for a referral. They never told me who they were referring me to, so when I had heard nothing for weeks, I had to call to find out whether or not they even submitted the referral, find out who it was to, and even then I never got contacted, and heaven forbid if I ask these guys to jump on them for not getting back to me, they'd probably force me to pay the co-pay as though it was another office visit. Keep my money, lose my business.
The entire operation was a clusterfuk, and I will NOT be returning to Stanton Optical, REGARDLESS of the location.

I asked if insurance would cover the glasses. I was assured that it did. I proceeded to order. The lady was very professional. But, she never explained cost. Not until the very end. The bill for me came to $513.81. I was shocked. I asked about the insurance and she said insurance covered $255.28. Luckily I had a credit card to use.
