I chose to name a star for my auntie and uncles wedding gift and they absolutely loved it. They said not to tell anyone but it was the best gift they received. So shhhhh!
I named it after them and it was registered on the date of their wedding. Having the option to pick a date made the gift even more special to them.
I did opt for the additional star map at £5.99 I think it was. This is worth it. It shows you your exact star location!
I also loved the fact I could include a personalised message on the star deed certificate. Just pure brilliance.

I chose the 24 hour Royal Mail delivery service and it arrived when it was supposed to and it was a very small extra charge. I think £1.99. Other companies charge a bomb!

Easy to order. Would have been nice to have a choice of frames. Lovely keepsake for my sister Well packaged and arrived on time. Nice that they provided a map and additional information on the star.

To name a star in honour of my son & daughter in laws wedding day should be a lovely keepsake. One I hoped they could display in their home with pride. Which for me is now a tarnished memory!

I decided to confirm with online chat staff about the inclusions of the 'Gift Set & Star Map' package. It was confirmed resoundingly not once but twice in the chat, that it would be framed.

In Australia, Star Name Registry use Australia Post for shipping. Australia Post don’t generally have a good reputation for fulfilling their delivery times, either standard or express post! This was the situation for my parcels.
My order was packaged as 2 separate parcels. These were separated during sorting in NSW & arrival in WA. So consequently they were a day behind each other in movements and delivery. I will absolutely acknowledge that this grizzle is & was completely out of Star Name Registry’s control. But perhaps an opportunity for review of another courier service!

Imagine my disappointment when I watched the newly weds via Face Time, open their wedding gift ( of which arrived 3-4 days after the event & once I had returned to my home state.) only to see the Star Map was not framed. Talk about being misled by advertised imagery & ill-informed staff!!

I contacted the staff by email immediately hoping to sort out this situation. Despite receiving a polite business worded response, stating my feedback will provide an opportunity for Star Name Registry to review their imagery/communication & a 20% discount gesture for a future purchase (which I won’t use), I was not appeased.
Disappointingly I will now need to arrange & pay extra for the Star Map to be framed when next visiting my son & daugher-in-law interstate.

Knowing that my grandson's name is now forever associated with the bright star in the universe was important for me. It was an easy process and I opted for the simple electronic version which I was able to print onto high quality paper and put into a high quality frame. I opted for the star map addition as it provded a lot of printable information and the map showing the star which will aide him when he gets older to see his start and - hopefully- remember me with a little smile on his face.

The whole process of choosing a gift was very straightforward, which made it easy to select something meaningful for my children’s 90‑year‑old grandfather. When the gift box arrived, it was beautifully wrapped and presented with real care. The star deed looked impressive, and the map showing the star’s location was clear, informative, and thoughtfully packaged in its own tube. It turned out to be a truly special and memorable gift for someone who means so much to our family. Thank you again

Its a really nice gift but I dont think the certificate and star map justify and extra £20 it's a bit ridiculous. Had a great experience with customer service about delivery though and still love the gift.

Paid extra for a “bright star” still not visible with naked eye. Expected the star map, frame, and certificate like the picture shows on the bundle I selected. All extra $.

We brought this gift for my brother for his 50th birthday. He's an amateur astronomer and he was very touched to have his name on a star.
The framed certificate is good quality and looks very professional. The included documents, especially the map are helpful. I recommend this company to anyone wanting to register a star.

Breath of Fresh Air. Recently had all sorts of issues with a well known Courier, especially trying to get Customer Service to resolve. Enter this company!

I ordered a personalised star map for a 21st birthday. I messed up the wording and was very disappointed when the item arrived. No problem to Star Name Registry. For a small fee (reasonable), they reprinted the map and sent it to me.

No fuss, no faff - Amelia was amazing to deal with and her email sign off sayings are feel good. Great Job!!!

Edit....... The second lot if items dispatched to make up for the ones I originally did not receive WERE actually in the parcel. It was MY mistake. ......... So I do have everything I ordered and the mistake WAS corrected very promptly. So I have changed for reciew to 5 star. .................. ................ I'm not happy with the service at this minute. I ordered a gift pack that had a framed certificate in it, and s star map, plus 2 Keychains.
Well when it arrived I got two framed certificates and the star map. I spoke to customer service who seemed very eager to sort this out. I was told that the two key chains will be sent immediately.
Here we are just a couple of days later, and I've received the package. But instead of the 2 key chains, I've been sent yet another framed certificates ( or deeds as the site calls them. So now I have three framed certificates that are exactly the same but still no key chains.
The customer service lady was wonderful and very polite, so I'm not upset with her. The packages also arrived very quickly so that's good. My problem is that the order was not correct. Not once, but twice. As I'm annoyied with the person who read the order and packet it, getting it wrong twice. If this matter is resolved properly by the time the gifts are meant to be given 15, I will update my rating.

The package arrived within a week! The certificate and the map documents were excellent. The extra information on constellations is very good to read. I am giving this gift as a wedding gift to my soon to be sister in law who lost her son on May 24, committing suicide at only 28 years old. Now, because of you, my sister in law will be able to see him every night and talk to him directly.... hopefully, it will ease her pain. Thank you!
