Got new Fujitsu Split system installed yesterday by StarPlus Group. Great customer service friendly and professional.Highly Recommend

BEWARE - Absolute rip off merchants. Read about my recent experience with this crowd on 23/10/19. Two rooms in my house weren't getting air conditioning coming though to them so I rang Star Plus Group and arranged for a technician to call to fix it. They called around and fixed the problem within 2 hours which included them travelling about 40 mins to and from my home to source the parts which was 1 switch and 2 damper actuators to open the 2 zones. Total cost was $1046.17. I thought that the actuators must have been very expensive for such a costly job. Wrong, when I checked online after making payment I found that they were about $110 retail each and the switch was $28.92 making a total of $248.92.

That means (GST inclusive) that they charged $797.25 for 2 hours labour - not bad and the additional labour costs were disguised under the broad heading of 'Electrical Work'.

The next day I ring to complain about the grossly excessive charges and I am basically told 'too bad' you accepted the quote. They wouldn't budge at all on what I consider to be deceptive pricing schedules. They need to itemise all the costs, parts and labour fully and be totally transparent in the quotations.

Use this company at your own peril!!

Excellent service at a reasonable price. Responded and resolved electrical issues quickly. I will most definitely use their services again in the future and recommend them to others.

Mark came on Thursday morning to fix my Hot water system, and recommended I replace it as it was too old to fix up properly. He gave me the quotes for both jobs (repair old system or install new one). There was no hard sell, he was knowledgeable and efficient. Thanks

Disgustingly Overpriced
Called out an electrician Saturday night, understand the labor will be more than during the week but their charge on parts is unbelievably overpriced. Not only did I have to pay $240 per hour for labor plus a call-out fee of $165, they also marked up the price of parts so much I am speechless. The RCBO parts are roughly $30 each and I had 4 installed and they charged $170 per one!! I have confirmed this with a qualified Electrician who said I was ripped off big time. I called to enquire on the price and reception was rude and said that’s their standard stock price. Please look around and get quotes before being ripped off by this company. I will never ever use this company again.

Our company has been using Star Plus Electrical for a while now, and have always been happy with the prompt service and reasonable pricing. Their knowledge and experience in trade field is second to none which is reassuring when it comes to electricity. We use Tim primarily to wire up air conditioners on domestic and commercial projects. His work is always neat and tidy and he is always punctual. I highly recommend Star Plus Electrical and will continue to use Tim as "our electrician" in the future.

After coming and providing some advice and a quote, we settled on replacing half a dozen lights and installing some dimmers, the quote included the cost of the dimmers.
Star Plus Electrical then contacted the people I purchased led globes from to get their advice on the best dimmers for their globes. They advised a more expensive dimmer which they used with no additional cost.
Work was completed quickly and to a high standard, at the agreed time.

I rarely write reviews but i would like to thank Tim and his team for helping me out with plumbing.At least my kids wont be inconvinienced anymore with water shortage due to leaking pipes.Thanks again starplus

Star Plus Electrical - these guys are great. They turn up when they say they will, do an excellent clean job, are reasonably priced and provide advice if needed. And they are really nice guys. They have my vote and I really recommend you use them.

I recommend Star Plus Electrical. I needed work done on residential ceiling lights quickly. Star Plus Electrical was able to fit me in at a time that was convenient and they didn't keep me waiting. They also offered a reasonable price compared with other quotes I'd received. The work was done well and quickly. They knew what they were doing and cleaned up afterwards. I'm very happy with the outcome.
