Dressage has been in the game for years and it is still bugged, adding penalties at random and rendering the mini-game unplayable. This was an issue with it's release and years later it persists.

This game is just getting money from…

This game is just getting money from children.

I've spent probably over £1000 just to get hacked and star stable to do nothing at all, lost all horses when there was a lot of money worth, lost all clothes etc and now they don't even respond to my emails. Been over a year and I loved the game but I have no interest anymore due to this.

Don't recommend at all, keep off this game

Very concerned parent!

My daughter has played this game for years. Her account got hacked, they stole all of her items, star coins and horses. Star stable reinstated the horses and then banned my daughters account for 11 years, she'll be 24 by then.

I have spent hundreds of pounds on this game only for them to ban my daughter's account after she was a victim of a hacker.

I honestly think the next step might have to be small claims court.

Star Stable on mobile is a massi disappointment es una mrd

Star Stable on mobile is a massive disappointment. The game is plagued by constant glitches and crashes, making it nearly unplayable. The controls are clunky and unresponsive, and the user interface feels like an afterthought. The graphics, which might look decent on PC, are poorly optimized for mobile, with textures that look blurry and laggy performance even on high-end devices.

To make matters worse, the game is heavily pay-to-win. Progressing without spending real money feels impossible, and the prices for in-game purchases are absurdly high. The quest system is repetitive and uninspired, and the social features are so limited that they barely justify the “multiplayer” label.

Overall, Star Stable on mobile feels like a rushed port that fails to capture any of the charm or playability of the original PC version. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere for a better gaming experience.

Payment taken after 2 years

Have just taken money from my account after 2 years on my apparent rolling subscription!!. No info of where the payment has come from and terrible customer service. Wish I had never got this game for my daughter in 2015. No way to gain refund or block payment method as there is no information of where payments are taken from on my account. AVOID

Moniter young players

The chat system can be unsafe for younger players, due to its AI moderation. Players have, and will continue to, bypass the filter and leave explicit messages in global chat where anyone online can read them. As far as we know, Star Stable is aware of these issues but has yet to take effective action to address them. This lack of response is disappointing, as it compromises the safety of the community.

Lovely game for little girls however my girl is terrified to play during the Halloween month. The sound effects and the witches etc is too much for kids. We pause her from playing for this entire duration.

Greedy and money caring company

I’ve been playing this game since 2014 and loved it, however sadly SSO went downhill in the last few years and nowadays there’s nothing to do anymore.
Star Stable Team is removing events that players loved deeply (that is the Midsummer event, Valentine’s Day event, April fools day event, Cloud kingdom and now even the BIRTHDAY EVENT). They removed these events permanently even when players begged them to bring them back (because we have literally nothing to do nowadays in the game).
Recently, they removed the beloved birthday event that was in SSO every year since the beginning. They replaced it with some sort of “medieval event” which was a pretty cool idea, BUT, they made this area permanent (instead of making it special and keeping it in game only for a short period of time) and instead of giving us at least something to do in this area, they gave us ONE new race, ONE 5 minute long quest and new horses & pets so we need to buy more star coins. This is ridiculous! All they want is money, they don’t care about their players nor our feedbacks. :)
I really hate to say this but this game is not worthy of the money anymore, it makes me sad, but sadly it came to the point where it is now.
This is the most ridiculous and greedy company I’ve seen…so disappointing to see this once amazing game fall down into the “money making machine” type of game.

Don’t spend money on this game, it’s not worth it.

Poor inclusiveness of children with needs

Really disappointed with the lack of helping special needs children to be able to participate through chat. My daughter tried using an emoji due to her having a traumatic brain injury and after I'd read comments to her she responded with a smiley face ie :) to show she was happy and she could recognise that she'd expressed happiness. They banned her from participating in the chat function cause they considered a smiley face a breech of rules. Even when I contacted them to explain the situation they still wouldn't reconsider the ban. Pretty disappointed and not to mention hurtful to my daughter who is now distressed due to her struggling with PTSD as well as a TBI. Not what I call a understanding supportive team behind the game for children who try to feel inclusive.

I love SSO I've created a total of 3 accounts just to play it. I have so many amazing memories with it and I love seeing the progress. But this game has gone downhill, non star riders can only go to a total of 2 places on the map. Star coins are hella expensive (100 Star coins are $6 and most horses are around 900sc meaning each horse costs around $40-60) The company is very money hungry, and customer support doesn't help you at all it's always the same response and it never helps. I'm disappointed in SSO, it's one of the only games of its kind. And it's so sad how they mistreat their players.

Money grabbers hiding behind pretty horses

I have been a loyal player for 10 years now, on and off. I have always loved the game and have many fond memories but whilst graphics is improving, the company is not. Their customer service is awful with absolutely no sympathy towards the players, all they care about is money. The prices for star coins are beyond ridiculous. Complete money grabbers that take advantage of young children sweet talking and begging their parents into spending money.

John from Support has no customer service skills, he is very blunt and uncaring towards situations, just straight to the defence. It’s a shame.

It was fun

It was fun at first but when I learned that it wanted money to continue your story I stopped I think you should give a free horse after you level up your horse to full and NO MORE MONEY INVOLVED PS: real money is what I mean

pricey and boring :c

I started playing sso a few years ago and stopped last year for obvious reasons!

the game is 95% pay to win, and if you don't pay, don't expect a wide ranged open world nice game that you can play with friends. Expect a boring, repetitive game with little to no players and no horses to buy or see, no races to do, no people to meet and no clothes to buy.

Don't even get me started on the prices. 60 euros for full time rider?! i got the three month one and played for 2 years. as you can imagine i want my money back.

The only time you are excited to log on is when there is a new horse to buy. You try it out, make an outfit, spend some money and leave. Repeat that 2 times a month.

The bugs are also annoying. I had a very big level but the game wouldn't let me pass the bridge. Very annoying.

Anyway don't be like me, don't waste your time!

Stopped playing and now I know why...

So... I've played this game back in like 2013-2015. I was a kid that didn't know any English (English it's not my first language) so I didn't understand anything they were saying or what was happening. Since I couldn't go further than Moorland and Fort Pinta I stopped playing. Now after all these years I've downloaded it again. And I thought like I just didn't understand what I was supposed to do back then. I build the bridge, unlocked Silverlade, The Harvest Counties... only to log in today and jot being able to access any of it. And I'm like what the hell... and then it hit me like a truck. That's why the Star Rider offer popped up. They let you try some of these places for free until a certain point... after that it's just MONEY! I'm sorry but like... this is stupid. The game is beautiful and all but... this is bullsh*t. I thought they gave more access but I was wrong... If you'd enjoy playing from Moorland to Fortpl Pinta in circles it's good for you... but this is stupid.

I hope you're rich. Otherwise this game is a waste

I have been playing this game for quite a few years now. And while it is fun, at times, the price that the company charges is outrageous. They are a multi-billion dollar company that charges KIDS about $40 for 1,000 Star Coins and then makes it so that the price of a horse is 950 Star Coins.

Sure, they give out 100 Star Coins to star riders each week. But this is just a front to seem as though they're being generous. It would take OVER A MONTH for someone to be able to afford even one of the older and cheaper horses in the game.

Not to mention, that they come out with 'new tack' that is only available to the new horses, older generations can't wear these pieces of equipment. They go out of their way to make sure that children's parents have to pay (probably) about $1,000 just to make the game enjoyable.

I get that they need to make money, but this is excessive. $40 for 1,000 is unacceptable and straight-up unethical.
