Change in quality

The two sweaters I bought are well-made and of good quality. They also fit well. I'll be looking for other items at State Cashmere.

Absolute nightmare of a company!

Absolute nightmare of a company!

The worst experience I’ve ever had with an online store. Not only did it take about a month to actually get my order, the customer service is atrocious! I sent them many emails trying to get answers about where my order was and when it would ship. At first, I got nothing, not even an automated reply saying they had gotten my email, but then I got exactly 1 email, saying that it is possible that my item was on back order but that it would be shipped soon. When I replied to get a more specific answer, I got nothing back. When I tell you I’ve had better buying experiences ordering from SHEIN, I wish I was exaggerating. To top it all off, the sweater is the worst sweater I’ve ever purchased, and I lived in Alaska for 6 years, so I’ve bought a TON of sweaters. I don’t know who they have testing the softness of their cashmere, but they must be wearing gloves, because this is THE scratchiest sweater I’ve ever tried on. The return process is even worse! You have to email the same address that’s used for customer service and wait for them to approve the request AND they have the audacity to charge you for it. No way in hell! This was supposed to be a nice splurge on myself, and I am beyond livid that this is the outcome. Do not buy from this company EVER!!

Unfortunately, this order was on backorder, and we had to wait for it to be fully processed and received by our warehouse before it could be packaged and shipped. We recognize this caused a delay, and we are actively working to fix this in our system so that all stock shown as available is truly ready to ship, helping us remain within our intended shipping timeframe. We apologize for the inconvenience this caused.

Regarding your return, we understand the difficulty caused by emailing back and forth. A full refund was already issued to your original payment method, and a refund confirmation email was sent. Depending on your bank, it can sometimes take a few business days for the refund to appear. If you haven’t received the funds or cannot locate the confirmation email, please let us know, and we can resend it directly.

We also appreciate your feedback about the return label process. We are exploring an automated solution to generate return labels directly, which will help avoid issues like emails being lost in spam or junk folders.

The return label with instructions was previously sent automatically by our system, and sometimes these emails can end up in spam or junk folders. To ensure you have it, we’ve resent the same label. If you’re still having trouble opening or viewing it, please let us know, and we can send the PDF file of the return label directly to you.

We also appreciate your feedback regarding the color. This has been passed along to our supplier for all new production, and we perform checks for color conformity during our quality control process to help prevent issues like this in the future.

Theft

Made my purchase 3 weeks ago and have had no updates on it at all, my purchase hasn’t even been packed yet. I have reached out to customer service 4 via email, since that’s my only option, and absolutely no response. Not even an automated one. At this point the company stole my money.

At the time of your order, we had indicated that the item was backordered, which unfortunately meant it could not be shipped within our usual 3–5 business day timeframe. For example, orders that are out of stock should be clearly displayed as such, and all available stock should be ready to ship immediately. Nobody is responding to my emails

Nobody is responding to my emails. I am trying to return an item and I have sent at 5 emails resetting a return. NO ONE had reached out to me. I'm so frustrated !!! Please help me figure this out or at least number for me to call.

A refund confirmation email was also sent at that time.

Beautiful soft socks

Nice feel, especially since they are without ribbing or cables. A little long, but I can fold them over at the top because there is very little elastic there. It says 100% cashmere, but that doesn't allow for the elastic, and I've never seen cashmere socks that don't have some nylon in them. I'll have to see how they wear. The price is quite competitive.
