A genuinely smooth onboarding experience

As a first-time founder setting up a Hong Kong company, I was honestly nervous about the banking part — most providers I looked into felt slow, impersonal, or unclear about what they actually needed from me.
Statrys turned out to be the opposite. The KYC process was fast, the requests for documents were specific and reasonable, and every reply from the team came quickly. What really stood out was having an actual person to talk to — we did a Zoom onboarding call, and it felt less like a formality and more like a proper conversation about my business.
The team is polite, professional, and clearly cares about getting things right. For a solo founder, that kind of human touch makes a real difference.

UNAUTHORISED CHARGE OF MY ACCOUNT AND REFUSE TO REFUND.

I was an existing client with them but I didn't give them approval for auto renewal of service for the next year 2026- 2027 and 2 months before of my subscription expiry date in MAY, they already charged me another year subscription without MY WRITTEN CONSENT. Statrys didn't send me a notification of the debit of my account so I didn't know until 2 weeks later when I opened my account and checked. I had other things to do and travelled all that time so I only found out later. At first I thought their email was sent by mistake, it was sent just before the weekend WITHOUT STATING HOW MUCH THEY WERE GOING TO CHARGE as well and because they can’t just take out the money if I didn’t give them consent like that. I immediately emailed them to request to cancel my renewal STILL a month before I need filing as I am looking to switch to other provider who also takes care of our accounting and charges cheaper and be more supportive. Statrys kept saying the renewal was completed in their ‘system’. There was no documents uploaded for me at that point and also the fact is that you can't lodge the renewal before the current registration expired (Again it's still a month before that). I have to go on a dispute process with authority and it will be taking time and they stopped responding to my dispute internally. MY ADVICE IS TO LOOK FOR OTHER PROVIDERS, ONCE STATRYS OPEN ACCOUNT FOR YOU, THEY WILL ALSO HAVE ACCESS TO YOUR BANKING AND DEBIT ANY MONEY THEY WANT TO TAKE OUT, THE COULD DO SO WITHOUT ASKING FOR YOUR WRITTEN APPROVAL. YOU MIGHT BE STUCK AND THEY WON’T REFUND YOU ONCE THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY. I WONDER HOW THEY CAN FUNCTION LIKE THIS IN A HONGKONG. IF YOU’RE WILLING TO RISK YOUR MONEY, YOU’LL BE MY GUEST.

Getting started with Statrys turned out…

Getting started with Statrys turned out to be easier than I expected. The setup process was clear and intuitive, so I was able to move through each step without confusion. What impressed me most was their support, whenever I needed guidance on documents or requirements, the team responded quickly and explained everything in a simple way. It really took the pressure off and made the whole experience feel smooth from start to finish.

Useless if you do e-commerce

Useless if you do e-commerce, you can only spend up to 100k HKD a month with the card (around 10k USD), which is nothing if you are an online business and you need to pay for ads.

Unbelievably fast and straightforward process

My Hong Kong limited company and business account were up and running in less than a week. Everything was done remotely online — no trip to Hong Kong required.

The last time I used another corporate service, it took me months, required a physical visit to Hong Kong, and I still didn’t receive the international card I needed to run my online business.
