Purchased an electrical from the Llangefni shop with my credit card. Was given a receipt for the card transaction.
However on returning it, as it did not work, was informed they would not refund me, or even give me a credit note as there should have been another receipt with a QR code. The elderly lady which did the original sale had not given it to me. Was basically told to go and take my faulty goods with me. Certainly a one star shop.

Hello David. Our shop colleague was following the correct procedure. As you didn't have the receipt with QR code, she gave you the telephone number of her manager in order for the issue to be resolved. If you had have called we would have asked a few details about the purchase and reproduced the QR code in order to provide you with a refund or credit note. If you had have taken the advice of the shop manager, who was trying to help you, then your grievance could have been easily resolved.
