good ridden to there's trolling scammers over 8 years of a warning tag was placed on my profile by them for no reason tried to get it removed and they keep making excuses why it will not be removed

No, that's not hyperbolic or an exaggeration. The "admins" of this site took SEVEN YEARS to apply a "banned" tag...to the wrong account. I got flagged and put down as a scammer for this awful website years ago and never realized it, and only when I went to have my information removed did they try to tell me the accounts were 100% connected...even though one has a community/profile ban, and mine does not. The site is full of narcissistic admins that power-trip over the smallest things.

They falsely ban actual users and the real scammers will not receive a ban for YEARS, if ever.

I received a scam link from a scammer impersonating a CS2 workshop artist Yuwi. So I thought maybe I could help out by having SteamRep flag that account and serve some justice.
That's not at all what happened... I provided everything they wanted. Chat logs, The fake link vs the official link to the workshop submission, Yuwi's submission page stating scammers have been using it. All for the admin "Horse" declining it saying I provided no chat logs despite VERY CLEARLY in the attachments putting all the screenshots they wanted.

One last thing for the love of god why does the Provide Evidence box exist.. Below, it says post your screenshots at the bottom with the upload button so then what's the provide evidence box for if i did that earlier anyway? This sites an aged mess and it shows.

Most scammers Ive ever encountered not only had clean SteamRep profiles, but still do. Their policies make no sense, ranging from getting scammers banned being at times impossible, yet at the same time others retaining nigh-unappealable bans for years due to for example account hijacking.
Therefore, the site serves more to whitewash scammers than anything.

Also be warned: Posts on the site can not be edited / deleted manually. Accidentally uploaded sensitive info in a screenshot? You have to beg an ego-bot moderator to maybe graciously take it down / censor.

admin was really snarky with me... plus they are useless. dont accept any appeals or reports. you guys serve no purpose as another user said.. no one wants you guys in any valve community and judging by a simple google search, they never did...

Awful. Just awful. They want to be valve employees so bad but clearly never made it. Doesn't matter if it's been 10 years, to them you are still a scammer. Get a life. Go outside. Go touch a woman or a man if that's what you are in to. Here's just a few things about them!

- Supports jesse, a massive pedo in the TF2 community
- sends out bans to their friends competition in order to ruin them
- admins have no life and treat you like dirt

So alongside being pedo supporters, they are just genuinely unpleasant people. Can't wait for your site to shut down you clowns!

they lie about scammers. They are, for the most part on the scammers side. If someone sends you to this site as "proof" they're not a scammer, block them immediately!!

If you are green at trading and make a deal with scammer in discord (even when scammer demands it) you are not scammed (by logic of this site, don't use discord or else you yourself is a a scammer) scammer walked a free man to trade, i checked my items are gone su if you wan't to report scammer just use steam report, in this site your report will get denied

They do not help in any case and they only answer you that they can't do anything, the page does not make sense and only serves to confuse people who REALLY need help.
The admins are cynical, are jerks and are very square when you give them proof of what happened to you, because depending on where it come from, they only close the cases without explanation.

This site is completely pointless: They provide no help in case you get scammed. All it does is
harvest your personal information and your steam profile (games, friends, etc..) to display it on their website to everyone. There is no way to remove you personal data from their site. Don't use it if you value your privacy...

mentally deranged man-children with over-inflated egos. like talking to robots, no compassion, no desire to listen, just there to follow their ridiculous policies and procedures. if you want to be a doormat, go join the millitary, at least then you'll be of some use

I was trying to get appealed for a ban due to my account getting hijacked. So I submitted to get this fixed, then it took 3 to 4 months before I got in contact with someone. I have shown them proof of what has happened, yet they say it's "not good enough proof." And I wanted to talk to one of the moderators about this, and they sent me a link to nowhere. It was now leading to today. I wanted to get this off of my back, so I appealed again. And now they said, "Oh, you're locked because you "bumped." What in the hell does bump mean you never told me in the forums about bumps! I'm outraged, and it's ridiculous, never trust steamrep and the admins that run that dumpster fire of a forum.

I appealed for a ban that was made to me being an "Alternative Account" 8 years ago for scamming. I have never been involved in this and made an appeal following their process.

You Are The One (an admin) replied with one comment of "Invalid" following a forum link with no helpful follow up information. I couldn't respond on my own appeal so I then private messaged him for more information. He left a very abrupt and unhelpful comment back that could be interpreted as rude, with again no more helpful advice.

I have been banned for doing nothing wrong in the first place, no evidence against me, and I receive little help or comments on progress on appeals and why my appeal is ultimately "Invalid". I have applied for a legacy ban now with not much helpful information from the community. I will still have some "Black-Mark" on my profile for no fault of my own. I hope the ban gets lifted but the impression I got from SteamRep as a whole was the worst from any community site I've been on in a while. The prospect of SteamRep is a a great idea but it has been tarnish by my personal experience.

Does nothing, no active community.

the only great advice they have is how to protect against scammers but they do NOTHING and favor scammers that have been accused by 100+ people litterly

SteamRep.com amazing site for finding scammers, cheaters, etc that are connected with steam or any game you are currently playing. I stumbled across it years ago never have used another search engine for checking out steam users.
