I have a pair of the women's Hobart boots, and I LOVE them. They are probably the most comfortable boots I have ever worn. I took a trip to Greenland for work in Feb and I wore them every day. Not only were they comfortable but also, they keep my feet nice and toasty in the -27-degree weather. My husband has a pair too and he loves to slip them every time we leave the house. They go well with Jeans or dressier pants. I have also received multiple compliments from random people about my boots. They are simply the best!

This will be my second pair of boots, the 1st ones lasted over 2yrs, when I say these are the most comfortable work boots I've ever worn, I'm not exaggerating! Michael Prescott, a Blue Steel representative, introduced them to me. He's a great guy that believes and stands behind this product. I'm definitely a for life customer!

More like 100% waste of money.

I purchased these boots 7 months ago, only to find the boots are totally unusable due to the zip.
I contacted the company I purchased these from only to be told they only have a 6 month warranty.
£130.00 for 7 months is very disappointing, and to add insult I contacted the steelblue directly…still waiting.
I have had Cheaper boots that have lasted way longer, in-fact if you think about it, you could have 4 brand new pairs a year for the cost of these.
Don’t take my word alone, read the online reviews, they are not as good as they say.

Purchase SteelBlue Boot and hardly used them. Then the Zipper jammed open on one boot. The other boot Zipper is starting to slide badly so it will most likely jam soon I suspect. SteelBlue did not even want to look at the boot and said it only has a 6 month warranty. Not sure how SteelBlue can keep tabs on their quality if they don't even considering inspections a fault of a boots that has hardly been used.

I've been wearing my work boots, yesterday and today. I've noticed that my feet hurts with my new shoes. I'm not really happy with my purchase.

Really comfortable and was very happy until one of the eyelets broke off in first few months. Update 06.06.23 The customer service is the best ever, after sending pics of my old boots with the issue they sent me a brand new pair. Will never buy any other boots then Steel Blue.

Not all that comfortable at all, the only thing that make them somewhat comfortable is the insole and a rubber section below the insole on the heel section.

You could effectively buy a decent insole for any other cheaper boot and get the same result.

The main reason I bought these were for the zip, however they were too uncomfortable for me and these are the reasons why.

1. The underside of the lace up section is poorly padded, especialy at the bottom end, so the stitching and leather rubs on the upper foot.

2. The steel toe cap is padded but i'd say it could be improved as again it can rub on the foot when toeas are fully bent whilst kneeling.

3. Back of the heel section is not padded at all has a hard section rubs against heel, most of the cheaper boots are padded at various supportive points including back of heel.

4. lack of key padding and posssibly also a trangely wide ankle section means your foot ends up sliding around and is not a comfortable fit, ynless wearing thick pair of socks and strangle tight the the laces from ankle up.

These are the major defects that I have noticed , having normally bough boots for around £20 -£40 which I found were ok for a few hours a day, I was recomended these as being comfortable, I expected much better quality , fit and comfort at at £120 price mark, but sadly they were not all that and I had to re-sell them at a loss, I should add that they are also heavy.

I have found much better boots that dont require break in and are comfortable with no issues, the V12 range are much better boots , I have not had any of the above issues and require no break in and the added advantage of being waterproof and they also come with a 200 day guarantee.

They seem to be really well put together! They are a very stylish work boot! They also delivered them to my house in a timely manner!

No breaking in necessary very comfortable from day one

Both my Husband and Myself have loved Steel Blue boots, but the changes to cheaper products to make their boot have made them absolute rubbish (with an expensive price tag). We have taken them to where we purchased them from and told by RSEA and Steel Blue they are outside the 6 MONTH warranty. Steel Blue said the boots fell apart due to “constant water”. Yes they have come into contact with water as they are work boots. Yes they have gotten wet they are work boot, but nothing excessively or over the top.
We have since swapped boots and won’t buy Steel Blue poorly, cheaply made boots. The sale assistant said that they have had this issue with Steel Blue boots time and time again.

So far, so good. I've had my boots about a month. Still breaking them in. They just keep getting more and more comfortable each day as I wear them. Good fit. Good quality. Excited to see how long they last.

Boots tore the heals off of me for the first two weeks. I persevered wearing them as people said they were comfortable, they have a breaking in period I wasn't expecting to go through. There not to bad now atleast.

I signed up as a Steel Blue VIP and won the best pair of work boots I have ever owned! And they are purple! These are so comfortable and cute. These boots support my ankles while walking my 7 acre property and my feet aren’t killing me when I’m helping with the clearing and working the plant nursery. Love my new Steel Blue Boots!!!

STAY AWAY!!! Upon writing the following review, Steel Blue promptly contacted me and sent a new pair 1/2-size larger for free. However after less than a month of wear the leather has already worn down on the toes. A hole in the toe after a MONTH!?

Fell apart, inside and out, in just six months. These boots have ~1000hr of work time, and I've worn through the hide on both toes, worn through the insulation behind both heels and both toes . . . Do cows in Australia not get cold enough, or are they using kangaroo hide for these weak WEAK boots? Most expensive I've ever owned, lasted !0% of what they should have lasted. NEVER AGAIN.

I work for Chucks boots and there are so many brands that we offer. Under no circumstances are we told what to sell, we make sure the boot is the right fit for the customer and Steel Blue fits right about 95% of time for the customer. We constantly have customers who come in with the stigma of staying with their comfort but as soon as they try on a pair, they are beyond surprised of the feel, fit, comfort and weight of the boot. You need to try on a pair if you haven't already, you'll be glad you did.
