Richard repaired my daughters Nintendo Switch within 24 hours. He quickly found the problem and fixed it for a very reasonable price. He was very knowledgeable and explained the fault clearly in a way I could easily understand. Would highly recommend Steel City ICT Services.

Called Richard as I’d spilt hot chocolate on my GF laptop! Rang him in a bit of a panic he was so great, told me to come straight round, set my expectations with outcome and price. Job done within a few hours. Kept me updated throughout the whole process. Would 100% recommend.

I’ve got a 2013 iMac which suddenly blew leaving me with a black screen. I tried everything, I could hear the starting chime when turning on but nothing on screen. Took it to Richard who I must say did a thorough job of investigating the problem and after installing a reconditioned board the issue was solved. All the way through the process Richard kept me informed of the progress by phone and messages, showing me pictures of the work through the whole process. Can’t recommend highly enough. I came to Rich with a PC which I tried to build. The PC did not turn on. Rich quickly identified the issues, helped me decide on parts that needed changing and put the whole thing together for me. Then he ensured the whole system was up and running for me with advice on how to maintain it. I can't recommend Steel City IT enough and I will for sure be coming back if I need any help with tech.

My sons switch oled screen needed replacing due to damage. Richard sourced a replacement straight away and had the console fixed within a couple of days. Works as new and looks great. Very happy with the result. Friendly and efficient service.

My laptop needed a new keyboard and Rich got it replaced really quickly and for a very reasonable price. He also gave it a good clean and also gave advice for keeping it that way. He obviously knows what he's talking about. I don't know much about electronics, but I recognise someone who's passionate about a subject and knows what they're doing. He offers a really professional service and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to friends and family.

Had some issues with my PC rig shutting off randomly & other various issues. Took my PC to Rich and had a service, clean & new CPU fitted.
Rich was informative and helpful to describe what was wrong & what needed doing.
Managed to get everything done in practically a day.
I will definitely use Rich for any future upgrades or issues.

So happy I had a controller that had stick drift and was unsure if it could be fix thankful Richard was super kind and helpful fix it without a problem I would recommend him to anyone who has any issues in the future 😊

I’d been having problems with my PS5 HDMI port, I contacted Steel City IT and Richard was very helpful, the turnaround was 3days and was a fair price for fixing, he didn’t rip me off, was honest, which is always daunting as a first time user. He also had great knowledge in this area. The PS5 works fantastic now, thankyou Richard for your help in repairing the damage! I will definitely use again if any problems occur in the future

I took my grandsons PS4 to Richard he did a great job. He kept me informed as to what was wrong with it and actually repaired it in a couple of hour. Great service very friendly will definitely use again. Thanks
