After judgment on my case was given in St Albans Magistrates' Court, I felt that I was a victim of an appalling travesty of justice. I observed that the Magistrates were only interested in hearing one side of the story. Furthermore, part of the evidence which I submitted was withheld by Government lawyers, and I had no idea why.

I therefore decided to launch an appeal and luckily Stella Maris Solicitors LLP agreed to take my case to St Albans Crown Court, even though other barristers had said my chances of success were zero. After lengthy discussions and going through all the evidence, Stella Maris LLP went ahead with the appeal. This was one of the most bizarre appeals ever witnessed - it was adjourned 4 times - but judgment was finally given in my favour at Luton Crown Court on 09/09/2020.
