I could eventually get hold of Gamvar Gloss
I could eventually get hold of Gamvar, not easy to find in Sweden. I would have preferred the gloss version but it was out of stock. I´ve spent days online to find suppliers of said commodity but many will not ship Gamvar, Gamsol or Galkyd outside their own country. Gamvar is the only varnish I know of that do not require oil paintings to have cured for 6-12 months before varnishing. The Gamvar and Talens products arrived promptly but I´m still waiting for the Golden retarder that obviously was out of stock
