Awful no customer support I needed to send this information to my nutritionist and it didn't work and you cannot get a hold of anyone to help. The website was glitchy the chatbot didn't work and the phone number goes to a vm box. Never using again.

Well ,,””it started out great,I received my first Stelo order and had the nurse install it and it performed well for the 15 day period , then thing took a change for the worse , my next monitor was installed by the nurse and it was applied to the other arm , for the 1st week it felt like a needle was in my arm and couldn’t sleep as the pain increased while laying on that side ?, the unit lasted 15 days , the next unit the nurse applied a new sensor and it bleed for2 days and the numbers didn’t seem correct and it only lasted only 13 days , the fourth sensor I applied and all was well up to the 12 day then it stopped ??? in the future I’m going to wait until this company perfects its product instead of experimenting with its customer base and the product and they can guarantee their
product to perform more consistently or someone else developed a more reliable product
I am prediabetic and use the Stelo to…
I am prediabetic and use the Stelo to check which foods increase my blood sugar. There doesn’t seem to be any consistency between sensors. One sensor will be accurate to 10-20 points which is what they claim to be considered accurate. The next sensor will be off 30-50 points with using the manual meter. It is very frustrating. I used the Dexcom for one month before switching to the Stelo because the Stelo is less expensive.

Dexcom should be ashamed of themselves for backing this product. It is consistently 20-40 points higher than fingerstick. Delayed alerts aren't helpful and the lack of function like calibration makes this device useless. Worst part is they don't guarantee the product so no refunds or returns. It's a complete waste of money.
Extremely poor experience
Multiple false spikes, long gaps in measurements, and inaccurate readings (I test with finger sticks as well). I get several sensor malfunction warnings, averaging 1 per day. Apparently there is NO meaningful customer support available. Don’t waste your time and money on this product.

It is a poor product with no customer support. There is a bot, which is totally useless.
My product would not sync with my app. Even after multiple attempts.
My guess is that sometime soon we will find out that this is like Theranos - a total fraud.
Make sure you can download the app before you order
You can only download the app if you have a US Google Store account. No warning of this on the web site. I tried to cancel order almost immediately, but could not reach a real person and they refuse refunds, even on unopened packages. Terrible customer service!
Worse experience ever
Worse experience ever. I reached out to a chat agent and no help. I cancelled subscription, however another package came and was charged again. BE AWARE! Also, no returns accepted even of its unopened package.

I want to love this product, but….
I want to love this product, but it’s left me wanting. I’ve been subscribed since the product hit the market, but multiple sensors in the past several batches failed at start up and never paired. Removing a failed sensor with fresh glue is torture, too. Since customer service is AI, it is days for resolution and there’s no one to speak with—ever. My recent order was lost in the mail—not Stelo’s fault—but the replacement process is now in its second week because of the lack of comms. 50% of the time, it works everytime.
Buyer Beware
Both sensors in one month kit never activated --"session ended early" error. They were replied correctly and they didn't even warm up before they broke. And the fine print says there is no warranty and no refunds. Buyer beware of any company that doesn't stand behind its products.
Waste of money
I bought a dual pack last fall (2024-08-31) and the first one lasted me three days before it stopped collecting data because I brushed my arm against the edge of a wheelbarrow that I was using to move mulch. The sensor stayed attached to my arm as if nothing had happened but the app notified me that the 'Session Ended Early'. The device is poorly designed in that it bulges above the skin making it very prone to getting caught. Minimally the edge should have a chamfer/bevel to minimize the risk of it getting displaced.
The second sensor, which has an expiration date of 2025-07-31, I applied this morning (2025-01-14) and everything was going fine with it doing a 20 minute setup before providing data. Anyway, sometime during the setup the app notified me that the 'Session Ended Early' with no other explanation.
What a waste of $99.

Everything is okay with Stelo. It doesn’t show the GMI%.
Waste of money!
Unreliable. The first sensor stopped working with a cellphone OS update. The second sensor prematurely ended the session AFTER TWO days for no good reason. At $89 a pop, that is unacceptable. I cancelled the service. Of course, Stealo! has no useful customer service. I cannot recommend this device.
I used Stelo for pre diabetic…
I used Stelo for pre diabetic monitoring since 10/17/2024. Just today canceled it all together. My negative experiences :
(1) at least 3 times a day compared with the results from traditional blood glucose meter .Stelo always shown 35-40 higher than traditional.
(2) Two sensors ended sessions early (2-3 days) , others 2 lasted 8-9 days.
(3) Only 2 of malfunctioned sensors were promptly replaced.The communication about others were ignored, despite assuring from the chatbot that case was created and later, when inquiring about cases,the chatbot answer was: case is wrapped up,see email about it. Emails were never received.(checked spam folder too).
I'm sure all positive reviews are based on not long enough using monitor, or simply just fake.

After a couple months of satisfactory use of Stelo, units recently purchased appear to be manufactured with less precision, are not accurate and are completely unreliable. However, the greatest frustration is Dexom's lack of customer service! They use a very useless text bot!! No human can be reached. I highly recommend using another product for continuous monitoring regardless of cost. With no reliability and no service, Stelo is a waste of money!!
Stelo customer service is non-existent
I receive Stelo via a "subscribe-n-save" refill schedule. Refills have never gone well (in my two refills) because they ship "just in time". Last month, it arrived the day after my device expired (lost 12 hours of monitoring). This month, even later (lost two days). Who knew shipping is commonly slow the week before Christmas?!? Worse, there are no live customer service agents. Both times, I submited a help request. Then wait 24 hours for them to email a Ticket# and request the details of my request. Neither time did ANYBODY then get back to me.
Terrible customer service
I ordered on December 5th for a Christmas present which has not been delivered. I reported multiple time via their Stelobot. Finally got someone on the phone to find out my delivery had been returned to them. It wasn’t going to make it for Christmas by this point so I asked for a refund. They said they don’t give refunds and I needed to fill out another case online to get a new one sent. Another 4 days later after that and I still haven’t had a new one shipped to me or a refund! Terrible customer service!
Hit and Miss
When the sensors work they work well and you can get back logs from the Clarity app.
I have used about six sensors so far and the last two failed after 4 and 5 days. One failure seemed to be signal loss; the other one read below 70 mg/dL continuously. Customer support is a joke. There is no phone, only a chat bot. If your problem is outside of the premade error report, you're out of luck. I submitted an error report and after ten days it said, "we are not sending a replacement", Wow, very nice. The first failure was about 10 days ago and the second was today. I expect a similar follow up computer-generated email.
Also, after trying the Stelo system I started the prescription, but the first order never arrived. I ordered censors manually to cover that. No word from Stelo on that either.
Great Product! Amazing customer service!
I have been using the Stelo CGM for the past three months and they have been incredible for me! The device is super easy to put on and link to a smartphone, allowing me to set at a close up my blood glucose levels and ensure that they are in range. The notifications that I get on my phone have been instrumental to helping me make healthier decisions, which have helped me overcome prediabetes. I have also been able to gain valuable insights from the device and am able to review my blood sugar readings for the past 24 hours, 7 days, 14 days and 30 days.
This past Sunday, my previous biosensor stopped working and I reached to the customer service team to receive support. After filling out a questionnaire, they quickly shipped out a replacement CGM to me which arrived at my home on Tuesday (less than 48 hours after my CGM stopped working). This quick turnaround ensured that I was able to get a replacement monitor quickly that I can use to continue tracking my blood sugar.
