Never received shipment

Ordered 5 pairs because of the wonderful reviews. But I’ve never received shipment I had gotten 3 notifications that my shipment was out for delivery and now I got notification it was at my door. Shipment never came I’m not sure if the site and reviews are fake. They use a carrier gofo this is the second site that used this company and I never received so not sure if it the carrier.

We totally get how concerning it is when tracking says “out for delivery” and then “delivered,” but nothing has arrived. That’s definitely not the experience we want for you.

Just to clarify, we do use third-party courier partners, and while most deliveries go through smoothly, occasionally tracking updates can be ahead of the actual drop-off or mis-scanned during transit. It doesn’t mean your order isn’t genuine or that it won’t arrive—it usually points to a courier tracking issue that needs a closer look.

We can absolutely help you get to the bottom of this. If you can, please reply with: Your order number and the delivery address used.

We’ll then raise this directly with the courier and investigate what’s happened with your parcel. If it’s been marked as delivered in error, we’ll work on getting a resolution sorted for you ASAP.

Normally I would rate 5 star, but this shipment upon opening I found all the bags cut open and my order was all over inside the package!

Sorry to hear your parcel arrived in that condition. Our packaging is made from cornstarch-based compostable material, which is great for the planet, but it can unfortunately be a bit more vulnerable during transit, especially with heat, sunlight, or rough handling. That said, we can reassure you that all items inside are always brand new and unused.

We understand it’s not ideal opening a parcel like that with everything loose inside, and we’re sorry for the hassle it’s caused. If anything is missing or damaged, we’re more than happy to look into it and make sure you’re looked after properly—just send through a couple of photos of the parcel and contents, along with your order details.

Overall the underwear are really good…

Overall the underwear are really good quality but I'd like to see bigger sizes in the trunk style. The regular boxer briefs go down to my knees and I don't like that. Other than that, they're great tho. Also. Maybe add different colors and patterns in the bigger sizes as well

The Step One Men's Trunk style is designed to be a shorter leg cut compared to the Boxer Briefs, but we understand the preference for that in-between length so it doesn’t ride too long on the leg. Feedback like yours is really helpful for us when looking at future range and sizing improvements.

On the bigger sizes and colour/print range — also a fair point. We’re always working on expanding both our size inclusivity and colour/pattern options, so it’s good to know there’s demand there. We’ll make sure this gets passed on to the team as we continue developing the range.

Well what can I say I love there socks…

Well what can I say I love there socks so comfortable crew socks for work and trainer socks for home I recently ordered more which Royal mail lost but not a problem contacted customer services an email sent and my orderer was replaced and sent out with no hassle.

I was hoping the waistband would be…

I was hoping the waistband would be better. I have a sensitivity to elastic plus being bigger amd I tried these on and was too tight plus the elastic feel was not comfortable. The legs felt good and they are light weight. Do something floor the waist and I would maybe try again.

They are not even close to size…

They are not even close to size accurate, I got L and they fit to tight, I wear 32 pants and size M shorts so I was a little confused but they are good quality

Sorry to hear the size didn’t quite line up for you. Step One is designed with a more fitted, supportive cut compared to standard underwear sizing, so they can feel a bit tighter than what you might expect from regular clothing sizes. For example, someone who wears a 32” waist in pants or a M in shorts can sometimes find they sit between sizes in our range, depending on personal preference for fit.

Great to hear you’re happy with the quality though—that’s something we put a lot of focus into 👍

There are other options

Product was ok. Ordered 3 pr mens underwear. 2 of the 3 were the correct color, the third was not. Customer service is not great. It's not easy to reach anyone, only having one method to communicate, which is a contact us window. Return policy is awful. They don't cover return shipping, require you to jump through a ridiculous number of hoops prior to sending them back and then you are responsible for your own return shipping. Not ideal.

Step One - Good quality underwear supported by excellent customer service

The Step One underwear are good quality clothing supported by excellent customer service. I purchased several pairs of the Boxer Brief style which are made of Bamboo Viscose which feels soft and cooling. Their sizes are a little smaller than normal styles and worth referring to their size guide before ordering.

Unfortunately I found the waist elastic band slightly too wide which made them unsuitable for my body shape, so used their "First Pair Guarantee". Their customer service is exceptional and excellent. Quick, polite and easy to understand. Even though on this occasion the item was not suitable for me, their response and customer service would still make me recommend Step One.

Had to have 2 pairs replaced because of…

Had to have 2 pairs replaced because of holes after only 2 wear & 1 wash. Even though both pairs were replaced pretty easily & quickly, I was made to feel that it was my fault even though I had done nothing wrong (suggested I ordered the wrong size or was washing them incorrectly). 2nd replacement received was men’s underwear, not women’s

Worth Every Penny Comfort and Service on Point

I’ve been wearing my new Step One boxers for a bit now, and honestly, they’ve exceeded my expectations. The comfort level is on another level super soft fabric, breathable, and they stay in place all day without riding up or causing any irritation. Whether I’m at work, working out, or just relaxing, they feel great the entire time.
What really stood out to me too was the quality. You can tell they’re well-made and designed to last, not just something that feels good for a few wears and then falls apart.
On top of that, their customer service was excellent. Quick responses, helpful, and they made the whole process smooth and easy. It’s always a bonus when a company actually backs up their product with great support.
Overall, definitely worth it comfortable, reliable, and backed by a company that cares about their customers

Best knickers I have ever worn

Best knickers I have ever worn. I was pleasantly surprised. Only tried one pair so far (they’re quite pricy so only got 1 pair of knickers, 1 boxer shorts, and 1 period pants for me).
Teen daughter seems to approve of her boxers.
Packaging was home and council compostable, which was also a pleasant surprise!

Sizing note: Unfortunately I am not an hourglass shape so sizing clothes is difficult in most brands. However, they fit fine, not too tight or loose anywhere unlike all other underwear! I did measure myself first rather than go off dress size. I’m usually a small or XS in lots of clothes / brands, but was Medium for step 1 so it’s not vanity sizing!
