Delivered a comprehensive presentation of each Sofa Bed and the fabrics and colours available.

Thanks Sterling, great service
We were very politely greeted in store by a friendly assistant, she wasn’t too pushy in the slightest.
We sat on almost every sofa in store without any fuss. We decided on a couple of sofas and the sales assistant guided us on the benefits on each. We were so grateful of the amazing service we received and we went home to measure up that day.
We went in store the following day to purchase our sofa and again was just amazed by the service.
Thanks Sterling! We will definitely be back for coffee tables and other bits soon.

Good service, poor product
The service in store and after-sales (to remedy defects) was excellent . However, the same cannot be said for the product (Solvi dining chairs). Out of 6 chairs, 2 had defects in the seats and 2 had insecure captive nuts when fully assembled (in accordance with the instructions - see below). Moreover, when I declined delivery (because we live close to the store), I did not expect to receive the chairs as flat-packs for home assembly. This is what might be expected when buying from IKEA at a quarter of the price; I expected to collect complete chairs, not boxes. The 2 replacement chairs were delivered assembled, but different in appearance from the originals. Overall, therefore, this was a very average experience, not consistent with a reputable furnisher.

We are sorry to hear that you were disappointed with both the quality of the furniture and the fact they were not assembled.
We have found that, for the most part, customers do not want their furniture assembled when collecting due to limited space in their vehicle. It is also now quite common for furniture to be transported to us from the supplier in this way. Ofcourse, we would have assembled them for you as part of the delivery service. However, you felt this was unnecessary due to your location.
It is great to hear that the problems were resolved by our customer service team however, we really are sorry that you were unhappy with your experience.

You are made to feel welcome on entering the store and are not pestered as you look around. There is a vast amount of stock to choose from which is of excellent quality. Prices are very competitive.

returning Sterling Home customer
I'm a returning Sterling Home customer, due to the excellent customer service that i enjoyed with my first purchase 3yrs ago at our Inverness store.
I emailed SH to see if i could order a matching armchair. It was Stefhanie at the Elgin branch who phoned me to confirm that it was still available, and the order was placed. When we were informed that the matching fabric had been discontinued, we discussed alternatives, as i still wanted the armchair. Stefhanie suggested i visit the Elgin branch to look at fabric samples. I have mobility issues, would be travelling by bus, and wasn't familiar with the area. But Stefhanie provided walking distance which reassured me that i could manage the trip.
SH has a huge selection of colours and textures. But Stefhanie's patience and advice helped me narrow the field down to two. I was so undecided at that point, i loved both colours. We've all been there, right? That's where Stefhanie's expertise (and that of her colleague) made all the difference.
The armchair arrived earlier than expected. I'm so pleased with the colour and texture, which is timeless. It goes perfectly with the sofa, and the rest of the room.

Sofa bed search
We have looked in various stores for a new sofa bed with a few specific requirements. Delighted with sales service and delivery of order.
I purchased two Marseille swivel recliners at the end of May from the Elgin store and they were delivered today. I am delighted with them and was very satisfied with Stephanie, the sales lady who was very knowledgeable about the products. Very pleased with the two delivery men too.
