Most shops have a 30 day return period and not 14.

I ordered a pair of Steve Madden boots…
I ordered a pair of Steve Madden boots in Portugal advertised with fur lining, but received a different pair without it. Getting in touch was a nightmare—it took days and multiple emails and calls. I’ve now returned the boots, but it’s been over 10 days with confusing updates about my refund, and once again they’re impossible to reach. Very frustrating experience.

I didn't receive adequate customer support
I didn't receive adequate customer support! My parcel arrived later than expected and officially remarked, so when I wanted to return the boots which do not fit me as they are cut way too small (!) the return time was, of course, already over, as the date was wrong. When I tried to reach out for help, nobody understood my problem. So I would really be glad if somebody could send me the return ticket I wasn't able to get!

The description is wrong. The item fabricated from synthetic and not from daim. I paid delivery fees and to return the product with the wrong description I have to pay again return fees of 15 euros ?
Received the wrong color boots
Received the wrong color boots. When contacted the customer service, they didn’t exactly cooperate and weren’t really interested and helpful. Their advice.. order the boots again online because they are not sending the correct ones. They are also not paying for return costs even though it’s their own mistake (that I have to pay for) so watch out buying from them. I deleted my account and will not buy from them again. Very disappointing Steve Madden!

Never buy anything from Steve Madden Netherlands!!!! They don’t take any responsibility for returns when they send wrong order and wrong return labels. I have sent them 20 mails over 2.5 weeks without any refund or help. Will never buy Steve Madden beand again!

Terrible Service, Zero Accountability – Avoid Steve Madden at All Costs
If I could give zero stars, I would. Steve Madden’s service is absolutely below any acceptable standard. They proudly claim to offer a 6-month warranty, yet legally you are entitled to more than that when a company sells poor-quality products. And poor quality is exactly what they delivered.
We bought shoes for €150 that literally fell apart after being worn three times. Three. After contacting customer service, their response was essentially: “Too bad, your 6 months are over, no warranty.” No responsibility, no solution, no goodwill. Just a cold shrug, as if it’s completely normal that expensive shoes belong in the trash after barely any use.
This company does not care about its customers. They care about money—nothing more. They sell low-quality products at premium prices, and when something goes wrong, they simply hide behind their minimal warranty and let you deal with the consequences.
Do yourself a favor and stay far away from Steve Madden. Think twice—no, think three times—before spending a single euro here. Because if their products fail (and based on our experience, they will), you’re on your own.
