Hired Stillorgan Drain Cleaning to find the source of a sewage smell in my downstairs toilet that was intermittent. They immediately set about investigating my drains and did camera and smoke tests that identified some issues with smoke appearing in my extension. I highlighted the smoke was not going into the room where the smell originated. They fixed the issue by repairing damaged pipes which stopped the smoke. This did not not fix the problem. I subsequently hired one of the plumbers to see if he could shed any light by looking at plumbing internally and he was of little help . They insisted on payment in full (2.3k) despite not fixing the problem. I have since fixed the problem with the help of google. ( Blocked vent and seal issue with shower drain). The workmen who arrived were very professional and I am sure they fixed issues that needed addressing but I would not have paid out that money if I had known it was not going to fix my problem.

Had my gutters and windows cleaned as well as my driveway powerwashed.

Had same day visit which was great
Had same day visit which was great. 2 employees came, didn’t stay long or say I needed a survey. Had to chase them for a quote so don’t think they actually wanted the job. Ended up ringing twice to get quote and was told they had IT glitch.When I got the quote verbally it was €5800 - was in shock to get such a quote without a survey/report. Am now going to get survey done with other company. Read the positive reviews so maybe I was just unlucky?
I had asked for a breakdown of the job to be emailed but didn’t receive that either so in my opinion no evidence to justify the quote.
Too much stress and effort for me as a customer to give them potential business.

Left without a loo!
Paid for an entirely new unit at a cost of 1,500 Euro only for it to be totally out of action a month later. We were told major parts needed to be replaced, unspecified, and that they would let us have the details. That was 2 months ago. This is the sole toilet for my very elderly, disabled aunt who has now been left in the most awful conditions. We need someone to get back to us urgently to resolve this.

Hi Ciara, Your dad called our office to this morning, So yes now we know which job it was for. As explained on the day of callout your saniflo appliance is only to be used for human waste and toilet paper, your saniflo was found to be jammed with wet wipes which will burn out motors and blades etc.

Stephen (and a colleague) had a major job to do - to dig up our patio & dig out and replace a broken pipe. Worked hard and got it all completed in one day, did a great job, replacing the patio paving bricks exactly as they were.
Very friendly and helpful, gave great advice. Would 100% use them again.
