I absolutely love stlflix

I absolutely love STLFlix. Honestly, I can’t imagine why anyone wouldn’t. The prints are amazing, and they consistently release themed drops with multiple pieces on a regular basis. 2 -3 drops per week. What I really appreciate is how involved they are with the community—they ask members what they want to see, let users vote on ideas, and then release models based on what customers actually choose.
There’s a huge variety of designs, and everything I’ve printed has come out great. No holes, no mesh issues just clean, reliable prints on both of my printers (I use resin and FDM). I also have the commercial license, and for commercial users, the value for the price is incredible.
Between the media, the website, the trending releases, and even the free store where you can post your own models, it really feels like you get exactly what they advertise and more. I’m a big fan. I love it!
I know how gushing my review sounds,
I want to mention that I’m simply a customer of STLFlix and not affiliated with them in any way beyond that. I give them kudos because I have truly enjoyed being a customer.

Terrible support

Polymaker was giving out free discount codes for stlflix. Wanted a discounted month then was going to pay for a year. My unique code from polymaker would not work. After three days of waiting for a response in chat I emailed, explained everything, including how I wanted to give them a year's worth of money. They had no idea about the codes, like no one was told they were partnering with polymaker, and after asking stupid questions like "where did you get this code" when I explained very clearly where the code came from with screenshots, they just stopped responding. Another person emailed and asked it things were resolved. I said no, three days later asked it if could please be resolved so I could give them money. No response, it's been more than a week.
Just know, if they can't give support to someone wanting to give them money, how are they going to support someone who already gave them money?

Scam… lifetime deal’s refund policy hidden in fine print…

Scam! Says 7 days money back on the offer, I tried to download a few files to print on my anycubic Kobra s1 and all print profiles are for bambu labs printers and kickback slicer errors!

I contacted support and they won’t provide a refund within the 7 days.

Do not purchase this unless you are 100% sure!

If you download even one file the fine print says no refunds apparently!

And the stupid website they give you doesn’t even support pointing your own domain to. It’s just a junk site to promote stlflix.

The coupons are just for discounts for 1 month to random file makers who offer subscriptions and not really any valuable cost savings…

The ai hardly has any options and is very dumbed down and I don’t think you can truly call it an ai… maybe a program but definitely no ai like meshy or other competitors…. Very misleading. Not to mention for the ai tool they just give you a bunch of credits… (great) but it’s not much of a lifetime deal if the credits run out!

Partially legit, partially not

Lots of videos promoting themselves. I think they started as a small company putting out a fairly well thought out product and then they decided they wanted to make it big. Unfortunately, the quality dropped off dramatically and they started delving into areas where they had no expertise. They've turned the company into a bit of a scam, putting out things that are poorly done and selling it as high quality. STLAcademy is a joke. Much better free resources are available on YouTube. They've sold memberships, changed the subscription parameters and then reneged on their original promises. They promised less expensive filament in a 'huge' announcement and then released a much more expensive product and were unable to live up to their own hype. Their latest 'big' move was to charge people for an AI solution that is readily available in multiple places on the Internet. Summary: long on hype, short on delivery. Be careful.

Unacceptable customer service

I have been a lifetime member for over a year. The issues I have is with their customer support. I do realize they are in a different part of the world than where I am but my recent ticket for trouble have been 15 days now. The last I heard from them via e-mail or their help site was 7 days ago when they asked for photos. The photos were submitted that same hour and they have not gotten back to me. It is in reference to their filament. Unacceptable customer service
