Welcome to Stondon Community Centre, a welcoming and modern community hub in the heart of Stondon, Bedfordshire, just a few miles north of Hitchin. Opened in April 2025, our Community Centre provides a flexible and accessible space where local people, community groups, businesses and organisations can come together for activities, events and celebrations throughout the year. We offer both regular and one-off venue hire, making the Centre suitable for a wide range of uses, including meetings, classes, workshops, children's parties, family celebrations, sporting activities and larger community events. Our spacious Main Hall can be divided into two separate areas and accommodates up to 150 people standing or 120 seated, while our Function Room can accommodate up to 50 people and is ideal for smaller meetings and groups. We also offer Home, Away and Officials changing rooms, a fully equipped commercial kitchen with direct access to the Main Hall, and a bottle bar serving both the Main Hall and Function Room. For visitors' convenience, we have 35 on-site parking spaces, including four electric vehicle charging points, plus a nearby overflow car park with space for up to 25 additional vehicles. We pride ourselves on providing a friendly, professional and welcoming service and aim to make hiring our Centre as straightforward and enjoyable as possible.
