I have been using Stonk Journal for 3 months now and I can honestly say that it is an amazing journal with everything that you need. It is not over complicated with useless information that you do not need but instead provides concise, easy to understand stats on your trading.

It is hard to believe it is free when other companies are charging so much, I highly recommend this software, every trader should be using it in my opinion,

I have used pretty much every piece of Journaling software out there, and yes some of them offer some pretty neat features.

However, Stonk Journal is everything I need, it works beautifully and IMHO is all one could need for the real purpose of keeping a Journal. To track, and assist in the optimisation of your trading.

The TAG management is perfect for tracking setups, nuances and different setups Etc. Filtering on what you need to track is easy and ultimately looking at Win Rate, R, Avg win and Avg Loss is all I need.

For a free journal, that works and works really well this is simply the best out there and actually is better than most paid versions. All you really get with the paid versions is bells and whistles that are not required and just incorporate further white noise into your trading routine.

Inputting trades is fast and simple, I also believe inputting manually is a benefit, it connects you with the trade and makes for a better evaluation.

Works really well and is relatively feature packed for a free application. Highly recommend it as you learn.

Cant see anyway to import trades, all you can do is add trades one by one, can you seriously create a journal with no import or am i missing it some where:

Thanks for response. Doesn't make much sense as would take same storage adding manually: one line in a DB table per trade so don't really understand the cloud argument, how would import require more space than manual entry,

Also it is not said anywhere you don't offer this I spent 10-minutes trying to work out how to do it. I think for a journal it is mandatory feature sorry cant adjust rating. Imagine i want to move to new journal platform you would expect me manually enter all my trades?

Best Solution in the market!

I was looking for a simple yet efficient trade journal that I could use while learning to trade Options. I'm a new trader and I didn't want to spend hundreds on subscription fees for an elaborate, complex trading journal. My goal was to see my progress.

That's what Stonk gave in barrow loads. It has a smart, clean interface where you can manually input your daily trades, comment on them, indicate your level of confidence attach screenshots of charts, and other reliable, easy to input data to keep you informed of your trading journey.

You can filter all sorts of things, get an understanding of monthly p/l, see the calendar of trades and many other things. What is extremely helpful is the fact that it's free to use! When you are new and developing a new skill you don't need to be over burdened by paying crazy amounts for simple journaling.

This is it - later when you come through your 'apprenticeship' while you are learning to trade (rather than have to learn to journal), this is the ideal platform. Then after your 'apprenticeship' (that's what I call it), and are consistent and successful earning your requirements as a successful day trader or whatever type of trader who knows how many more features are added to Stonk growing with you, that you may not need to upgrade to an expensive Journalling system.
Give it a shot... you will be pleased you did.

Having used stonkjournal for a few months now, I can comfortably say that it probably the bes free trading journak available out there. I will have to admit that it is a bit tough to use before you get used to it.I had for over a week or two before I could figure things out, but other than that its worth every trade.

Great Dashboard. Able to track winning strategies and days. Been the best free Journal in the world.

This is such an amazing application to keep record of trades. And that too free of cost. There are few minor bugs, but it helps me a lot to keep track of my trading. Thank you.

I am using Stonk Journal from last couple of months, and I would like to say that it provide lots of feature that must require at beginner level of trading journey.
But today on 27-06-2024 I am not able to login with my Gmail credentials to Stonk Journal. It is my humble request to Team to resolve this issue at earliest.
I appreciate Stonk Journal team to introduce ultimate trading journal at no cost.

Great journal to use and an easy interface to watch my progress of my performance in the market. Very great easy to use tools and a visible chart showing the performance of my long term stocks are always handy to look at. Can’t wait to see for any future updates it may have later on.
