Very nice machine with an abundance of features, for sure there is a learning curve but has felt very rewarding.

The SP404MkII is a lot of fun. It's not my type of thing usually. Bought it to try something new and challenging. Loving it so far. There is a steep learning curve, particularly getting around and understanding how to do what I want without too much stress. While there is a lot I don't know it is pretty simple to sample, edit samples, import or record my own samples and program patterns. Heaps of storage space. Seems perfect for making music on the go and is just fun and relaxing to tinker with. Light, small, powerful if you want to get deep, simple to a point but advanced enough to keep discovering new features. Firmware updates can bring new features (and more secret button combos) like the looping feature that came with firmware v4.04.

I love it! This machine is excellent. Inbuilt sounds are dope, but good to track your own down. Easy enough to grab sounds, loops, other samples and such on the fly and build them into a project. So cool man, lots of fun.

Very easy to pick up and learn the features. It sounds awesome and it inspires creativity. I'm very happy I bought this. It's nice to take a break from a daw/midi controller setup. I can sample directly from my phone with a USB C cable. If you are on the fence, you should just do it. Excellent value.

Works amazing in conjunction with my maschine mk3

Perfect for fully dawless beat making but also integrates surprisingly seamlessly into a hybrid setup handing off clips between it and Logic.

Sounds great with plenty of storage space. Loads projects fast and pretty intuitive to learn how to use. Perfect for making lofi beats. Would also be good for sound fx and promos for podcasts, radio shows, theatre performances etc.
