StoryCheck is a private online lookup service. Enter a phone number, email address, name or photo and see what is publicly findable about it: who it may belong to, where it shows up online and whether it carries scam signals. The person you look up is never notified.
Everyone deserves to know who is on the other end of a call, a message or an email, and what a stranger could find out about them. Fraud keeps growing: people in the US alone reported losing $12.5 billion to scams in 2024 (US Federal Trade Commission). Scammers count on you not checking. StoryCheck makes checking fast, private and simple, so you can decide who to trust and protect what is yours.
More than most people expect. A phone number or email address is often linked to a name, other numbers and public online profiles. Checking yourself first shows you what is out there, so nothing comes as a surprise.
Yes, for free and without an account. Anyone can remove a phone number, email address or name they control from StoryCheck results at storycheck.com/opt-out.

You have deducted payments from a minors account. In Denmark, people under 18 can not commit to payment, it has to be done by their Guardian. So just FYI, I’ll be filing a claim with the bank to get the payments reversed.
