Wonderful stories, beautiful pictures and easy to use app.

It’s an app with hundreds of stories for little kids. All the stories are safe for sensitive kids - no scary parts or too much suspense.

A great alternative to stories being read to my kids without there being a hidden agenda or hidden messaging in so many stories out there. Just good hearted wholesome stories! I don’t need to worry what my kids are listening to. Love Storynest ❤️

My children LOVE StoryNest, we use it every single day. The stories are carefully curated, and it's an awesome resource for those of us looking to parent more consciously regarding what our children consume.

The best part of StoryNest is that I can trust that the stories will be good. Sometimes I just need to let my 4yo play for a bit while I take care of something else, and it really helps to know that all the stories on the platform have been vetted. Can't say the same thing about youtube or podcasts or anything like that.

StoryNest is a game changer! I don’t need to sift through all kinds of questionable stories on Spotify or elsewhere. Everything is categorized beautifully, ad free, and conscientiously chosen. I’m really grateful for this gift to our children ❤️🦋

It is wonderful to see such a wide variety of carefully selected, age appropriate stories all in one place. Easy access to magic for young listeners!

As a Waldorf educator and mentor, I highly recommend Story Nest to all people who want to give children uplifting, nourishing stories that have been screened for quality and excellence.
Stories offer children a means of extending themselves beyond their current personal life experience into the realm of the archetypal where all the characters of our psyche live and operate. They demonstrate the laws of cause and effect, inspire a sense of awe and wonderment, and give us new possibilities. Oral stories also cultivate the imagination, an essential ability needed for creative expression and original, innovative thinking. Stories and images are the primary language of childhood, they provide soul nourishment to foster wisdom and loving expression as opposed to factual information which is much more difficult to retain and grasp.
In these challenging times it is advisable to monitor the stories our children hear, as not all stories are wholesome. This is a tall order for most parents and caregivers. Just as not all foods are healthy, the stories we share with children are ideally organic (or at least non-toxic), sustainable, and ethically cultivated. I am grateful for the immense contribution Story Nest offers the precious children in our care.

Wow. I wasn't sure how my children would respond to listening to these stories but they love them. In fact, it is becoming difficult to get them to chose new stories instead of the ones they have already listened too. ( my 4 year old specifically with Timothy the Barn Mouse lol.) Love this idea, the stories, the app. Thank you!

What a wonderful offering! Stories that build positivity and resilience, with all the warmth of a campfire. Kids will come back to listen again and again.

StoryNest was a lifesaver for me today as I was sick and my husband was working. My kids loved all the stories I played, and I was so happy to have it as an option for them. They listened to Thankfulness, Lily and the Fig Tree, and Why the Sky is Far Away. This is really an amazing and diverse collection of stories and authors. Both my kids (ages 4 and 7) loved it and it’s hard to find something they both enjoy. I also really love the filters, that I can easily sort by artist, age, or length. It made it so fast to pick a story and there’s such a variety.

Storynest is the app I have been wanting for years!
A place where my children can access beautiful, meaningful stories without me having to filter out any low quality or inappropriate material. What's more, the stories aren't only nutritious, but my children genuinely love them, laugh out loud, quote them and reflect later on what they have learnt.
I am also able to subscribe and know that the artists who are providing such rich and nurturing material for my children's development will be paid fairly for their craft and even supported to create more magic into the future!

My gratitude is beyond words.

We are enjoying story nest very much. I have a 4 and 6 year old, they equally enjoy the stories. We are big readers in our house it is so nice to confidentiality put on a audio book without have to pre screen everything. I have sensitive kids who ask alot of questions. I love both these qualities/strengths in them. I like the stories that explain a value after the story is done. Especially for my 6 year old who is a deep thinker. It's a beautiful way to easily open conversation after.

We primarily use it;
- At quiet time. We don't nap anymore but still need a rest. Audio books keeps 2 busy kids still and actually resting their bodies.

- at bed time when my kiddos are having a hard time falling asleep.

- distraction/keeping kids occupied. It's so nice to have another option for distraction (vs screens) when you need a few minutes kid free.

My feed back
We live ruraly and drive a fare emount. I often don't have internet access. I joined story nest with the intention of using it primarily while driving. I was disappointed I couldn't download stories. I'm told this feature is coming soon. When downloads are available and the few glitches on the app are fixed. I would give story nest a 5/5.

AMAZING service - such beautiful stories that I can wholeheartedly recommend to all parents seeking quality, inspiring, age appropriate stories for their children. A++!

Some of the stories are a little 'crackley' in the background...perhaps recordings could be done without background noise. Almost like an old record player sound. There was one story that the volume was either SUPER loud or SUPER soft, so we turned it off as the loud noise scared the kids. Maybe the 'funny scary storys' could be put in a different section so kids who are anxious are sure not to listen to those ones.

Stories are fantastic with amazing storytelling. High quality audio production. App for Android is a little laggy or freezes, but the quality of the stories outweighs the app issues.

This conscious children's story app has such added value to our family! We listen to the stories in the morning to school, activities or when travelling. An amazing selection of stories with exceptional narrators.

My grand children love this app. The stories are very creative and include songs and sound effects and they are rich with meaning. We listen while driving in the car or when doing crafts or early in the morning on sleep over days. They even choose storynest stories over their favorite cartoons and shows and because they are audio it's a healthy alternative to "screen time". I highly recommend this app for anyone who spends quality time with children.
