The whole experience was terrible when…

The whole experience was terrible when we first checked in they said we did not pay enough on the resort fee and they were increasing it because we were staying 4 nights instead of 3. For $35 more A night we could have a coffee maker safe refrigerator and microwave and I told them no thank you and they wanted a $200 deposit which was fine. Got up to the room and it was very outdated not very clean lots of dust and cobwebs under the air conditioner. The reason I know that is because the air conditioner completely stopped working the very first night we were there call down and it did get replaced in a timely manner but that air conditioner didn’t work very good because it was either hot or cold in the room. There was only two bath towels in the room the phone had wires sticking out of the handset. The carpet was dirty. There is only one trashcan in the room and it was about the size of a gallon container. We never got housekeeping the whole time we were there we had to keep calling down to get towels and worst cloth and then they wouldn’t bring us enough up my niece went down to complain to the manager about no housekeeping after the third day and was promised that somebody would be up to the room and change all the sheets and clean and it never got done. We went to check out and they said they were keeping our $200 deposit because they said we were smoking in the room none of us smoke and we tried to resolve it with the manager and she just wanted to walk off and kind of laugh at us. Golden entertainment owns the Strat and I have called numerous times and have left messages with them about our experience and try to get this resolved and no one has ever called me back I keep getting told that somebody will call us and just couldn’t understand why nobody has called us. The STRAT hotel in Las Vegas bad experienca

The STRAT hotel in Las Vegas
Bad experience.
Book on their website.
that there were great pictures of their rooms. Booked a room with two queen beds. There should be coffee maker, refrigerator, At check in we are asked if we want to upgrade for 30 $ a better room, 30$ for every night we stay here, had also received an email about this, but did not think it was necessary as I assumed it was a good room, there besides I think I had paid enough for the roomnow, is shows that the room I thought I had booked based on the pictures I was shown on The STRAT Hotels website, was not, but just an old room which is not renovated, there is also no coffee machine or refrigerator and very poor air conditioning which making noise so much that you can not have it running, in the bathroom there is mold. In addition their resort fees are very high and you can not get around them. I would not not book at this hotel.

This was a great experience

The Stratosphere Observation Deck was a great experience! It was a wonderful surprise. Especially after being in the tiny caged prison that is the Eiffel Tower. The Stratosphere surpassed our expectations. There is a bar and also a small cafe on the 108 floor, which has ice cream, sandwiches, coffee, frozen lemonade, and other snacks. There were chairs and sofas for us to sit and enjoy the view. There was also a gift shop. Definitely worth the ticket. I very much recommend this attraction. Any questions, just contact me.

Stopped by on a recent trip to take my kids to the top. A bit pricy for one adult and two kids. Lost a star for that. Would have been cheaper to get a room at the hotel to go up at their discount. The location is still pretty bad as well. No really near the rest of the “Strip” so loses another star. I was impressed the casino looks upgraded from my last visit and did feel more welcoming then in years past so there is some good going on at the Strat.

Well I got to the hotel about 11:30pm…

Well I got to the hotel about 11:30pm from the airport. I was tired and the front desk staff told me since my reservation was already in the computer it would be about 5mins to get me checked in. That was not true. It took me 25mins to check in. I know they try to up grade the rooms that's there job, but when you tell them no thank you, that when the Bad service started. I didn't get the room that I booked on the booking site. My room was clean. I don't smoke asked for a non smoking floor. Soon a i got of the evervator it smelled like Marijuana on a non smoking floor. What a disappointment. After calling to front desk they had nothing to say, I couldn't change room i was stuck to morning. Like I said this was a 11:30pm, I woke up at 4:30am and checked out. Booked the rest of my stay at the Orleans hotel and casino.

Stratosphere security officer

I was checking in my hotel room and temporarily parked my vehicle in the valet to walk in and check in, as the signs in the front of the building instruct guests to do upon arrival/checkin.

After check in I went to my vehicle to get 3 suitcases to bring to the bellman so I wouldn’t have to walk all the way from self park to my room with 3 suitcases. As I’m walking security officer John tells me I can not leave my vehicle in valet. I explained that I just checked in and only wanted to drop my bags off and agreed to move my vehicle. Security John allowed me to do so. At this time The bellman proceeded to tell me to wait where I was bc it would be a few mins since the other bellman had left the podium. I waited. While I waited I noticed and recorded 5 vehicles in the same area that were unattended. They were not parked. They were all sitting near to my vehicle.

The whole time I was waiting “KEVIN THE SECURITY OFFICER” (whom I’ve said nothing too) proceeds to walk very close to me with his K-9 dog and literally followed me very closely (review cameras for proof) causing several guests to stare at me as if I had done something wrong.
At this time I feel very uncomfortable and embarrassed bc of this. I still had not said anything to Kevin the security officer at this point.
A couple mins later the bellman comes and gives me a ticket and takes my belongings and Kevin the security officer begins to raise his voice at me yelling. He was yelling at me as if I refused to do what the other security officer (John) asked. I had not refused any instruction. At this time I noticed several guests starring at me bc Security Officer Kevin is yelling.

Antonio (the Bell man) Complained to Kevin security officer Saying there was no reason for the security officer (Kevin) to get that loud. Antonio stated He was very disrespectful and not necessary.

Antonio also stated that he’s seen the security officer Kevin do this before and it’s a really bad look on the hotel.

I travel all the time and have been in Miami NYC Los Angeles and Las Vegas in the last 2 wks and stayed at hotels in each city. I have never had any hotel staff treat me this disrespectfully and will make any and ever attempt to address this horrible experience so that it is rectified. I was completely embarrassed and uncomfortable during this experience. As a business owner of multiple corporations I would never allow my paying customer to be treated as a trespasser or someone who does not belong at my place of business. Please help me resolve this issue as I do not want to take further steps to get it resolved.

Terrible Hotel

Terrible service while playing, and we felt lucky Just to get a beer.
They dont react to written contact. The poker room was closed due to renovation, which really sucked, pretty much the reason why we went there, and the pool was closed on top also due to renovation.
We had no information on this, so really a bad experience.

This hotel became the "bottom of the world". After 26h trip we came to the hotel around midnight. We were tired, nervous and sleepy but we were left in line waiting for hours! Only 3-4 check-in counters were available, the line for the check-in was all the way down to the entrance door, and the self check-in counters were not in function. We were forced to stand in line for 4 hours (till 4 am!)!! Our night was ruined, as the following day. If this was not enough, we were woken at 7 am by the banging and drilling from the surrounding rooms. This is 11th time that we came in this hotel, and it is the last time definitely! I will for sure take some time to post some online reviews.
