Excellent Site
This is the best general map site ever: no complicated menus.
I suggest one improvement: the Yellow Skeleton Location Arrow, should be changed to a more visible colour, as when you scroll through different map scales it is difficult to see where it is against the background: it blends in too well at the moment.

Very good and useful site
Very good and useful site that I use a lot. Check out many areas of interest all over the country before deciding where to visit. Variety of scales to check driving routes or detailed walking/cycling with OS explorer scale or even street maps (AtoZ) scale. They had some issues recently - slow site, contact us not working (error), search errors - but now seem to be sorted and working much better.

Nice clear maps with more of the old-fashioned style and detail rather than the bland presentation typical of google, Apple, Bing maps etc
doesn't offer directions or that sort of thing but if all you want is a map this is great
