STRIPE IS A SCAM, PLEASE DON'T USE THIS COMPANY
I could give a ZERO

I registered with STRIPE on Facebook selling my products and after selling 5 products, I got a message through face book to ship products to customers and I did that and I uploaded tracking numbers and all customers received their purchased products and after that STRIPE, block my payouts telling me my business is high risk and they are going to keep the money for 120 days to refund disputes, when there is no disputes. They are just keeping the money to themselves while I loose my products and my money. This company is evil, stealing from poor small businesses, something need to be done about this unfair practice, they handle the payment transactions and later blame us for fraudulent transactions, they don't know what they are doing and their system is not working, I spoke to Facebook on the phone and they did not help much, they said I must contact STRIPE, and this is organised scam and I don't know why Facebook allowed them to process payments on Facebook. How can I report this, can someone email me.PLEASE HELP TO STOP THE SCAM

You wonder why everyone gives you a crap rating, sort out your finance department and pay out when customers pay us... you're ripping off business owners who have a lack of options when it comes to payment gateways

Stripe blocked me for 60,000 and kept it all for me, I'm going to be out on the street because of them, while I have to pay my employees!!! it's the worst possible company, while all my products are handmade and of good quality, I find it inadmissible.

They banned me under the pretext that I am a risky business when I sell clay vases... I have never seen that in my life.

Stripe is the perfect company to lose your money!

You create your account, collect your customers and they block your access and keep the money forever!

Saying that your business is "risky" when I have a brand of sandals lol . I lost 950 000 € at Stripe, to flee urgently!

If only I knew how scammy Stripe were.

If only I knew how scammy they were.
The very first sell I made on Facebook was marked as fraudulent after a month, so they've chargedback the amount + plus a dispute fee.

I honestly would expect a service like this - which already charges you significantly for each transaction - to take care of the verification steps of payees, considering I'm a simple Facebook user and would consider strange having to make all of these security enquiries to another person to whom I'm just selling some used product.

Such potencial, but unfortunately, such scam.

Do not use this company

Do not use this company. I was forced to use when selling on Facebook and after a month they created a scam fraud card payment to freeze my account. Never provided proof, withdrew money from my account to pay mystery customer. Then closed my account and didn't give outstanding money back. Report to FSA immediately, I have.

To all business owners, don't use stripe they will hold your money for 120 days for no reasons, they did it to me and kill my business, please avoid this payment gateway to save you money and time.

Absolutely awful, would give 0 rating if I could

Received email from them saying after selling items on FB marketplace saying they were going to close my account as high risk. Advised were going to refund money to customers that had already received goods. Non existant customer service, kept saying would review then would close chat saying resolved without responding or sending exactly the same message. Would not recommend them to anyone, completely unprofessional!!

Read if your account get closed randomly and automatically refund from Stripe along with fund holding

Would rate 0 if it’s available. I know how frustrating you’re when your account get closed because I am one of you. However, some of you may not know that their live chat will even exists when your account get closed. ****This can be solved by creating a new business account based on the account you get closed. On the left top corner, you’ll able to create a new account and if you’re on that account, you can open a ticket with live chat****. Emailing them will not help anything, they will just completely ignored and gave you a copy paste answer all the time. I not only get my account get closed once but twice. Within the same month, the first close, they took 2 weeks to review and decided to re-open, just a little less than 1 month later, they close again for the same reason which shows their team is a mess and unprofessional. Dealing with live chat support will not help anywhere but since I can see a lot of people experienced same problem, stressing their live chat support will reduce their support speed to really low which will force them to take action. If you’re doing nothing now, they will just keep ignoring you. By the way, If you have any remaining balance, you should def do like I said to chase them because it will not become payable after held periods.

Incredibly poor service received from…

Incredibly poor service received from Stripe. We were victims of a fraudulent payment. Not only did we not receive the payment for the services provided - we were then charged by Stripe an additional fee of £15. The support was non existent. Copied and pasted text which did not help our situation- then stopped responding to requests for help. The platform to submit evidence would not work despite repeated attempts. We have had to put it down as a loss and will never use this service again.

Just awful

Just awful. received an email from them after selling items on fb market place saying they are closing my account as it is "high risk." I am a single parent selling unused items - how can I be high risk? Have been backwards and forward via email all morning and unable to get any explanation from them whatsoever. If that isn't bad enough, they are saying they are going to refund every single payment I have ever received (almost £200!!) to the buyers (even though they have all received my items). Well I don't have £200!! Incredibly upsetting and very stressful. And they can't even explain why. Oh, and they're not going to pay me the money the owe me that they are currently holding. No contact numbers, no live chat - you can't get hold of anyone, all you receive in response to emails is a collection of standard paragraph response that don't tell you anything.

Would give 0 stars if possible.

Sold an item via Facebook marketplace. Sent item tracked 1st class signed for.

Customer did a chargeback after 7 days as item is stuck at post office (delayed as told by Royal mail).

Shes been refunded and will receive my item.

Mo contact number, they barely reply to emails.

Fed up. Out of pocket by £40.

Stay away from them if you're a seller.

I have proof of postage, tracking number, phone call logs yet she's still be refunded.

Stripe customers - the real business problem.

The reality is that the only problem with Stripe is some of the customers. They want stripe to be their business analysts and their accountants. Wake up people! Stripe is a payment processor. Stripe is a great service if only people understand what Stripe does. Stripe is customisable, yes, but it’s not 10 aspects of your business- it’s 1. People who have ten questions for stripe in the one email show just how incompetent they are at reading all the resources that have been provided. Instead of getting angry understand the role of a payment processor. I do. We all need help at times but have a bit of ability yourself to manage a business.

As I am writing this review just for the miss understanding of stripe, Yesterday we were working on our store then one of our clients didn’t pay due to a technical issue from his side, the radar was off on my stripe after that email from the stripe came that we have detected fraudulent activity. They ask for face verification. When I have done face verification, the email has come that we are closing your stripe due to fraudulent activity even we talked to that client who got failed during payment after that we have sent many emails stripe is not responding, THE MAIN THING IS THAT WE GOT MORE THEN 30 ORDERS AND EVEN OUR STRIPE WAS FRESH. THEY DIDN’T RELEASE A SINGLE AMOUNT, WE ALWAYS AVOID TO LATE DELIVERY, SO WE PROCEED WITH ORDERS FROM OUR POCKET WITHOUT WAITING FOR THE AMOUNT RELEASED FROM STRIPE. NOW STRIPE HAS CLOSED ORDERS HAS BEEN PROCEEDING WHAT WE DO? WE ARE IN TROUBLE PLEASE REACTIVE OUR STRIPE I AM READY TO GIVE YOU AN EVIDENCE THAT NO ONE IN OUR CLIENT HAS DONE FRAUDULENT ACTIVITY, AS I HAVE TO WRITE THIS MUCH BIG REVIEW BECAUSE STRIPE IS NOT REPLYING ON PERSONAL, LOOKING FORWARD FROM YOUR SIDE,
And now they are saying they will transfer the order amount to customers, but why???? I have already proceeded with the orders; please look into my issue and give money or reactivate my stripe. I am ready to provide you with all the documents and evidence
