I met John at a presentation for parenting children with dyslexia. Great advise and coaching over the last year. The advise over the last year has helped me feel more confident supporting my son and also helped me negotiate/guide school to get support in place at school. A great human being and champion for levelling the playing field so that people with dyslexia can shine at school too!

My Daughter is 'border line' dyslexic, I read loads of information about Dyslexia which is where John popped up. Happily he was able to help me when I had a couple of queries and it is lovely to know that someone is there if I need help and information in the future, Thank you.

The “Parenting Dyslexia and The Studying With Dyslexia Blog” has helped me and the families I work with. Sometimes it focuses on the students with a different learning approach, and other times, John addressed directly to how discouraged and at a loss the families of dyslexic students may feel during the education path. For any parent that finds their child struggling, you then find yourself in a battle with lack of information, teachers telling you of no money available or there are 32 children in the cohort. For once I found answers, direction and blogs that allow me to nod my head and gather some positives.

We have watched a couple of John’s webinars, done his Dyslexia Diagnostic and had a one-to-one meeting with him. John was really really helpful in providing some ideas and support which we had not thought of, the dyslexic diagnostic particularly helped us step back and see the bigger picture, this enabled us to then focus back in and pinpoint some things we wanted to achieve for our daughter’s support in school. Chatting to him on a one-to-one we could focus on a particular area we wanted advice on, we will definitely in the near future be using John to help us with the transition from primary school to secondary school.

We got in touch with John to ask for help understanding dyslexia and how we can best support our 10year old daughter. He has been amazing, providing advice via email regarding school meetings, and then a 1:1 video chat discussing how we can support her at home with her work and emotionally. We have felt so overwhelmed at times. It has been a great comfort to know that we are not alone and have someone to help us navigate our way through and support our daughter. Thank you John
