I had need of a gutter inspection recently & chose to use Sudell (Northampton) Gutter Cleaning services from those listed. Its always a bit of a gamble when using a company for the first time, but my experience with their Northampton man, Gary, was second to none! Brilliant all round, I would highly recommend to anyone needing this type of job doing. First class, Gary!

A job well done. This company is reasonably priced, efficient, trustworthy and clean exactly what is needed today. He's solved the problem of gutters overflowing and we have now peace of mind for when we get anymore big downpours. Brilliant, definitely recommended.

I noticed a gutter overflowing at the downpipe joint during recent rainfall and knew I had to address it without delay. After doing quite some research to make sure I found the right company for me, I reached out to Sudell Gutter Cleaning & Repairs. I phoned and although my call could not be taken immediately, within 5 minutes I received a call back from Harley. We scheduled a call for the following Tuesday. Later the same day I heard a funny sound and the gutter had cleared itself. I contacted Harley and he dealt with my cancellation with the upmost professionalism. Although I did not use Sudell on this occasion, I would not hesitate contacting them again to clear a gutter because Harley was very professional and courteous from the very first point of contact through to my cancellation and this speaks volume about a professional service.

Just had Sudell to clean out gutters and to wash all soffitts,facias, windows down pipes and to clean conservatory. Very good job.

Contacted for a quote - Michelle returned call within 2hours to arrange appointment.
Callum came to quote for gutter cleaning and job done there and then we also enquired about facia washing he organised a call back on that quote.
Jack came and cleaned All as requested.
ALL sorted in a week.

I asked these guys to quote me to clean my gutters. When they arrived they showed me why the front guttering would need to be replaced with new (The rest were okay). I agreed with this and they quoted a price, which I believed to include the gutter cleaning I'd originally contacted them about. They replaced the front gutter, and did a good job of it, but to my utter amazement they did not clean either the side or the back guttering.
AT NO POINT DID THEY INFORM ME THAT THEY WERE NOT GOING TO CLEAN THE GUTTERS WHICH WAS WHAT I'D ASKED THEM TO QUOTE FOR IN THE FIRST PLACE. I WOULD NEVER HAVE AGREED TO THE PRICE IF I'D KNOWN IT WAS ONLY TO REPLACE THE FRONT GUTTER.
When I came to pay I made a point of asking how much it would cost to have the side and back cleaned 'sometime'. The chap turned his back on me, mumbled a rough price and frankly couldn't get out of the house fast enough.
There is quite a bad leak at the back and the gutters haven't been cleaned since they were replaced in the 1990s. The day after they'd done a third of the job that I thought I was paying for I am still picking bits of cement and moss out of the back drain, so now I will have to find another firm to clean the side and back and doubtless have to fork out another few hundred quid. Not fun on state pension.
Typically for these days, there was nothing in writing, no statement of what was included in the price and no written receipt for payment received. When I asked I was just told I'd get an email. I did - after I'd paid. An invoice asking for payment! Apparently the payment he'd taken on his phone on the day didn't go through - not that he could be bothered to tell me that and it took several emails to get this sorted.
They have a great-looking website but much of it is misleading. It mentions a pensioner discount, but when I proffered my Goldcard bus pass I was told he'd never heard of such a thing. It also mentions a 12 month guarantee. Again, nothing in writing so presumably this is meaningless.
I don't know whether they were being intentionally deceptive - they seemed like nice, straightforward blokes - but obviously a conversation on the pavement just before they begin the job is open to misunderstanding. That said, I really don't see how asking for a quote to clean the gutters could possibly end up with no gutters being cleaned. The only thing that was cleaned out that day was my savings.

Richard Bowers came out to inspect and quote, the price was very reasonable, so did the job there and then. Richard worked very hard in some testing weather and was extremely thorough cleaning and repairing where needed. There was an area that was quite hard to reach but he persevered, worked out a way to get to that part of the guttering and was able to complete the repair. Richard is honest, friendly, very professional, he did a fantastic job and we definitely recommend him without hesitation.

Delighted with the efficient and professional way Sudell Gutter Cleaning dealt with my query. I had been searching for a reliable and trustworthy company to deal with guttering which had been causing concern for a while . It had been leaking from several sites where the seal had worn. I had an appointment with a friendly, polite and knowledgeable member of the team who arrived with a great clean van 🚐 with a special ladder and all necessary tools to carry out the repair job. I feel reassured with the 1 year work guarantee and shall be booking for annual check , which I am told will extend and work warranty for further 12 months . So glad I found this company. Shall be adding them to my list of trusted contacts . Keep up the great work everyone.
