When thinking about taking a Norwegian Fjord cruise I happened upon an online article by Suitcase Travel comparing the offering by the Hurtigruten and Havila cruise lines. I decided to telephone Suitcase Travel for more information and was pleasantly surprised by the friendly reception I received. I had a long chat with the owner of this family run business and received lots of useful information about the two companies, their ships, the style of the cruise and the similarities and differences between them. When I decided to book Havila ST took care of all the booking details and gave me advice on various options, etc. Going forward from that all my many questions were answered quickly and fully and communication was very easy. Although I knew nothing of this company before I saw their article I was extremely impressed with them and would recommend them to anyone wanting a truly personal, friendly and reliable service. And best of all, the trip was fantastic, surpassing all my expectations!

Listened to all my needs, answered all my questions and shared personal experiences. Found a brilliant, half-price trip for me and my sister. Fast responses to questions and covered every detail. Suitcase Travel were recommended to us by friends who had just enjoyed a Hurtigruten voyage and they recently helped us organise our dream trip to Norway. Mike and Lynn listened to our wish list and took care of all the important details and we were left to relax and enjoy every minute of our holiday. I normally book our travel directly myself but on this occasion we had a rather complicated schedule (4 different hotels, 6 night coastal voyage, 3 flights) and I was very happy to benefit from their advice and capable organisational skills. We can't fault them and would highly recommend them.

This was our first experience of a river cruise - and it was wonderful. However, before I came across Mike's blog (Suitcase Travel) and prior to booking, I was beginning to suffer from information overload: too many choices, confusing pricing structures, lots of options. I contacted Mike and having listened to my explanation of what I was looking for he provided advice that was clear, helpful and (thankfully) completely accurate. We booked and paid in full confidence that we had made the right choice and that's exactly how it turned out. And you cannot ask for more than that... We will be back!

Whilst researching Norwegian cruises, we found Suitcase Travel via an online blog written by Mike and phoned for more information. He was extremely helpful in understanding what we were looking for and suggesting suitable options.
Everything was then well organised for us and we had a brilliant time with a couple of nights in Bergen at a comfortable, well positioned hotel, followed by an excellent eleven night cruise on MS Havila Castor. The wonderful weather for most of the trip helped enormously!
We will certainly consider Suitcase Travel when looking for future trips.

Great service, great trip! This is the third trip we have booked through Suitcase Travel. As always, their personal service and expert knowledge were invaluable. It's good to be able to talk with someone who knows what they are talking about! Hotel was good, air travel and bus links to the airport worked like clockwork. Cabin on the ship was great. The Norwegian coastal trip with Havila was brilliant. Wouldn't book with anyone else!!

Mike and Lyn were really helpful when we were booking our Hurtigruten cruise, especially with regard to the flights, transfers and hotels before and after. We thought the Bergen hotel was well-placed, but the Oslo hotel was in a brilliant position - both were really super hotels too.
The information they gave us about our travels meant that we could relax and enjoy ourselves fully. Thanks for a first class service!

Having read an article by Suitcase Travel and wanting to do a Norwegian fjord cruise we phoned them up. Mike was extremely helpful in assisting us to decide what sort of experience would work best for us explaining the differences between Hurtigruten & Havila, the Coastal Express and the North cape Express. The North Cape Express was perfect in every way. Trollfjord is a very comfortable ship, excellent facilities, wonderful interesting food, brilliant Experience Team, happy cheerful crew. We enjoyed our visit to Oslo very much-especially as the weather was bad and we went to the Fram Museum instead of the planned excursion! Brilliant!! The Clarion Hotel was very comfortable and the breakfast there was fantastic! We loved the ‘small ship’ cruising and look forward to the next one-maybe Svalbard next time!!! I was very confused about the difference between Hurtigruten and Havila..found a blog online written by Mike and phoned him up! Could not have been more helpful…he listened to everything I wanted and organised our trip brilliantly. Suitcase Travel took us though every stage before our holiday and made us feel very supported. We had the most fantastic time and I will definitely be using them again..their customer service was totally fantastic!

We wanted to do a Norwegian coastal cruise but couldn’t decide which company to use. Information given on Suitcase Travels website was very informative and constructive, and helped us decide to use Havila. Subsequent phone calls with the company also helped and we were given friendly helpful advise. The travel arrangements made by Suitcase travel were very comprehensive.

Wanted to go Norway Coastal Express voyage and contacted Suitcase Travel about the options after searching for information about Havila v Hurtigruten . I phoned them up and they were so helpful.I can’t fault the service given and will definitely use them again. They arranged everything. Flights transfers, excursions etc. Superb.

All details of our requests were listened to and we were advised accordingly...the holiday was seamless, wonderful accommodation, food, excursions, and flight transfers etc. Lyn and Michael were very helpful with all the arrangements. Thank You!

We arranged a Norway Coastal Express voyage on the Havila Pollux through Suitcase Travel at fairly short notice. All the arrangements were taken care of including flights, transfers and a night stop before the voyage. Everything went according to plan, cannot fault them.

Everything ran so smoothly - we had everything we needed (tickets, passes, hotels etc) and I didn't need to do a thing to organise it! Great.

We had a fantastic trip to Norway, which was organised at fairly short notice and was very much needed. Mike’s expertise guided us to the right choices, and Lyn was always ready at the end of the phone to help sort out questions. When the start of the holiday had to be reorganised, Mike and Lyn took all the worry away and made sure that we could go ahead and enjoy the time away. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Just returned from an amazing holiday starting in Singapore, onto New Zealand, cruise around New Zealand, time out to stay with friends then back to Singapore and a few nights on Sentosa. This was such a big adventure for us. A friend suggested contacting Suitcase travel as I had no idea how to start to put this together. I spoke to Mike, he came back with suggestions and put together this package. Everything was so well organised, hotels were perfectly located for what we wanted to do, links to visa’s and entry requirements were attached which had to be completed prior to travel. Customer service was excellent, questions, queries and worries I had were answered and dealt with promptly, nothing was too much trouble. I look forward to you planning our next adventure. I discovered Suitcase Travel via a very well written article outlining the differences between Hurtigruten and Havila cruises. I sent contact to through their website and received a response from Mike the next day answering all my questions with reassuring competence and clarity. Though I was considering my trip via another operator at the time I immediately switched to Suitcase travel and at no point regretted the decision. The previous agent appeared to not have the direct understanding of the tour I was querying that suitcase travel did and their responses to my queries were vaguer and (as my trip transpired to evidence) somewhat misguided.
Both Mike and Lyn were very helpful and responsive regarding all my queries and requirements throughout and I am so very happy that I discovered them in time to arrange my perfect bucket list experience of a northern lights cruise. I do not believe the experience would have been of such quality had I stuck to my original plans.

What utter b/s robbing a 84yr loyal customer, slamming the phone down on her because your loyal card is apparently invalid even tho you reassured her it always invalid, you will always be a person to us ! Didn't respect my 84 Yr old nan that way utter disgrace of a family run business

As stated she didn't book holidays with you she always booked with you.

The only one she didn't was egypt because you couldn't or wouldn't accommodate what her and my grandfather wanted for the 60th wedding anniversary, ! Is that a reason for you to put the phone down on her and be so rude to her
