Great Pilates experience
I signed up for an online Pilates session mostly out of curiosity, and I came away genuinely impressed. I've been dealing with nagging shoulder pain for months, the kind that makes reaching for a top shelf or sleeping on one side uncomfortable. I didn't expect a single class to make much of a difference, but by the end I felt real relief.
Sabi was the highlight. At the start of the session, Sabi took a few minutes to ask about injuries, and when I mentioned my shoulder, several movements were adjusted for me on the spot. The cues were clear and easy to follow, even through a screen. Sabi also caught my shoulders creeping up toward my ears, which I now realize I do constantly.
The session focused on posture, core engagement, and opening up the chest and upper back. Some exercises looked simple but were surprisingly challenging once I slowed down and did them properly. There was a great balance between strengthening and stretching, and nothing ever felt rushed or forced.
What surprised me most was how much the core and upper back work eased the tension in my shoulder. I had always treated it as an isolated problem, but this class showed me how connected everything is. The next morning I could move my arm more freely, with far less stiffness than usual.
The online format worked better than I expected. All I needed was a mat and a towel, and doing it from home made it easy to fit into my schedule.
If you're dealing with shoulder pain or simply want better posture and strength, I would absolutely recommend a session with Sabi. I've already booked my next one and I'm looking forward to seeing how much more progress I can make.
