Gavin and Sulis were excellent - incredibly thorough and knowledegable, responsive and efficient. We got loads of quotes for solar and then went with Sulis for the knowledge Gavin gave. We weren't disappointed - system is great and very happy with the workmanshp - recommend.

Excellent battery installation and replacement of solar . Gavin is very good, so he's always busy but worth waiting for. He always turns up to his appointments on time, gives very clear explanations of the work he intends to carry out and is competitive with his quotes. We trust his work and he's our 'go-to' electrician.
Left a Google review, but seems to have disappeared. Poor service, poor response. Gavin did electrical work for us in 2022, requested he come back a few weeks ago due to a faulty outdoor motion sensor light (he sourced and fitted). He was sent a video of the unit/explaining the issue, where he replied “These things don’t last”. Return visit arranged, then he cancelled on us last minute and no response since then to multiple follow up texts, calls, VMs (although looking below - it seems he’s got plenty of time to respond to his reviews, but sadly not clients from previous jobs). Since had another electrician confirm the issue was not the 2 year old unit but poorly fitted unit (wires loose and exposed - this is outside! (no grommet as cable too big/water ingress caused unit to fail). This is shoddy work and potentially harmful or dangerous. Makes me question the quality of the other work he did for us….

We had many messages from yourself late July and tried calling Jimmy/James on two occassions following a series of text messages from yourself to reschedule a visit, which got cancelled owing to a job over running due to materials arriving late. We got a network message saying your call could not be connected. Not sure if that is your end or ours?
Have this afternoon checked and seen messages on whatsapp at 21:50 at night on 8th August. We no longer reply to messages late at night in order to strike a balance between work/life.
Regards VM - assume you mean voice messages/ voice mails?
We get so many voicemails each day it is not possible to listen and reply to every one of them without interefering with the day to day work schedule.
We are in process of streamlining the company communications as we expand and change the type of work undertaken. We are moving over to whatsapp business and individual domain based email and business numbers, rather than the personal email/ phone number used when the business was set up in 2017 and much smaller. We have also been experimenting with automated apps/AI to handle initial communications and found that some messages have not come through and vice versa we thought we have replied but the message did not send for technical reasons.
We cant comment on the thoughts of another electrician without being on site to diagnose the issue.
Looking back at old records the sensor would have had a 12 month warranty and this would have been outside the standard 12 month warranty in anycase
We apologies for your messages getting lost in this process of moving to the new systems and that we could not find a suitable remedy on this occassion and fallen below our high standards.
