Timsbury Preservation Services Ltd Reviews

I’ve drawn on Paul’s expertise twice in the last twelve months. Each time was an appraisal of prospective houses needing damp and timber works. I didn’t make either purchase in the end, but I can tell you that Paul was extremely reasonable cost wise and immensely helpful in terms of making appointments at short notice. Very happy to have found him.

The work carried out was done on time and to budget. The contractors were as neat and tidy as possible, given the nature of a lot of the work, and this is a really nice company to deal with!

We have been using TPS for a number of years now-over a number of different sites and use them because their prices are competitive and their work is excellent and they complete the work on schedule. Steve Shearn makes sure we are kept up to date with any issues and the entire team-including Dave the plasterer- have done a great job on installing a new DPC on our nursery building in Atworth-working with us (including on some weekends) to make sure we could keep this busy nursery operating whilst the work was being carried out.

Great service.
Timsbury Preservation Services has done timber treatment & damp proofing for me in Bath and South Gloucestershire over the last 20+years.
I have always been pleased with their service.

Excellent service,

Very helpful and pleasant staff, kept you well-informed, respected our property, good communications from the company too.

Paul came out to my cottage on a number of occasions to advise me on some damp and condensation issues I was experiencing. He provided very practical and honest advice, and many of his recommendations were things I was able to address myself, which I really appreciated.

There was one particular damp issue that I wanted resolved quickly, and Paul went out of his way to rearrange his diary to come and inspect it. He then helped get the necessary work booked in promptly.

Throughout the process, Paul and his team were professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. I would have no hesitation in recommending them and would certainly give Paul and his team a five-star review.

We would recommend using this company. . minimal disruption very polite guys cleared and tidied all their equipment with the lease disruption to us. We’re Hum. happy with the work that was carried out at home .

The team did a brilliant job, on time and to spec. Great communication throughout – would definitely recommend!

When Paul came to do the survey I was impressed by his extensive knowledge and how clearly he explained what was needed to resolve the damp issues at my home. The team who came to undertake the work were excellent and left everything clean and tidy. The plasterer, Dave, was especially talented and we have a lovely smooth finish to the walls now. The whole job was efficiently and quickly handled. Unusually, Timsbury Preservation Service take off the cost of the damp survey if you then proceed to use them for the work. The invoice was accurate and showed the deduction for the damp survey clearly.

Hugely knowledgable, great communication from survey to undertaking and completing the works on my cottage. I will definately use their services again.

Practical prompt service . They don’t try to ‘ extend’ the necessary work brief.
Professionally carried out , and tidy!
Thank you

All good. Paul did a thorough investigation with recommendations for things we need to arrange that are outside their scope and gave a prompt written survey on the works for them to carry out. Sam and John did a splendid job. Dave’s plastering was exceptional and all were quiet, tidy, quick and respectful of our home. Estimated cost came in as anticipated and the job was completed within the expected timeframe.

Recently had some below ground walls tanked at our small retail property. The guys did a fantastic job in what were less than ideal conditions.
They were very clean (as clean as it's possible to be with what is basically a very dirty job), and carried out the work exactly to how I wanted it done with no issues whatsoever.
I'd have no hesitation to use them again. If you need any kind of work doing to your property, these are the guys to contact.

Fantastic team; very helpful and efficient

Good initial report. Carried out the work professionally and quickly. Very tidy. Received guarantee quickly.

Having a historic problem with an old house that had beetle infestation I was very pleased that TPS were able to come in and treat the whole house. They were very tidy and cleaned through all the floors.

Great service and excellent work. Guys were friendly and hard working. Communication was great - always let me know what was happening next and when. Very clean and tidy
