While we understand the frustration of not receiving a manual in the format you would prefer, Summit made this change in order to benefit our diverse audience. Going paperless allows us to get the manual to the attendees a full 5 days sooner than they would originally get it. This allows them to look through it ahead of time to prepare for the content being presented and also give more time to consider questions they would like the instructor to answer. Since you receive it before the workshop, you can also decide how you want to have it printed in order to most effectively take notes on it. Every person is different and some prefer having different print formats: whether that is single or double sided, etc.
Having this paperless link in your account means that you can also access a clean copy of the full color PDF manual any time you would like. Since you keep access to these materials even after your subscription lapses, it allows you to build continues resources without worrying about them getting lost in a file cabinet or moving boxes.
We hope this information gives you a better understanding of why Summit has made the choices we have and that you will continue to reach out to us with your honest feedback.
