Amazing Everest base camp trek with Summit Wild, can’t thank Amelia and the guides enough for making the trip as smooth as possible! Overall a great experience, will be booking my next trip with them!

I completed the Everest Base Camp trek with Summit Wild truly the most beautiful experience I’ve ever had. Everything was incredibly well organized, the guides quickly felt like family, the landscapes were absolutely stunning, and the support throughout the journey was exceptional. I would do this trip again in a heartbeat and definitely with Summit Wild.

EBC 2026 was the trip of a lifetime. Amazing local ground team and the best guides for the trek who medically and physically supported our whole crew. The trip was amazing from the pick up from the airport and being brought to our nice hotel in Kathmandu, all the way to reaching EBC. The itinerary was great and so were the teahouses. I highly recommend this outfitter to anybody. Great at evaluating your know how and physicality for the trek. I‘m gonna cling to this trip and the memories and friends made along the way. Big thank you to Summit Wild!

Highly recommend!! I was recommended Summit Wild by a friend who swore by them and I got in touch with Amelia and she helped me with the whole process- all the questions about kit, what to bring , no questions were unanswered. The team of porters and our 2 guides were Incredible! Can definitely say I wouldn’t have been able to do it without the support from all of them, they want to see you summit and help you through each day to get you there. Overall the best experience and you should go for it!

Everything was planned out perfectly by Amelia, if we encountered any issue or question she was just a message away and would get back to us quickly. We started planning our trip a few months back with Amelia, and she was nothing but helpful throughout. The trip was tailored to our wishes and we couldn’t be happier! Our safari guide, Jamal, was extremely knowledgeable when it came to the wildlife and was happy to answer our questions while also teaching us some Swahili when asking him. This is my second trip now with Summit Wild and Amelia never fails! I knew if I was to go hiking again it had to be with Summit Wild. The level of care into each customer is incredible, from pre departure to post-trek, ensuring that you have the best, stress-free experience.

I found Summit Wild through a TikTok post and am beyond grateful to have chosen them for my Kilimanjaro trek. You’ll have a personal contact person in Amelia, who is always there to help — no question goes unanswered. Climbing the mountain with a smaller tour operator and group is a completely different experience, and you really feel that once you’re on the mountain.

We chose summit wild after seeing some positive reviews online. And they were amazing. Amelia made sure we had all the information and every question we had was answered quickly.
We were given information packs and very in depth kit lists which were lifesavers.

I had some trouble with my gear not arriving at the airport and Amelia sorted everything out for me behind the scenes and my bag got to me on the first day of hiking ! We recently visited South Africa with summit wild and it was amazing from start to finish. Amelia planned us two safaris, a trip to Franschhoek and Cape Town and everything was perfect. Everything was planned for us from lodges to transfers to domestic flights which made it so easy and relaxing even when travelling around. We couldn’t have had a better trip thanks to summit wild!

I did Everest Base Camp with Summit Wild this October and I couldn't recommend it enough. Amelia guides you through the whole process from beginning to end and is always there to answer any questions you might have. She made the booking process and the travel itself completely stress free and the guides and porters you get when you're there are so supportive and friendly. The organisation is great, the trek itself is simply stunning, the enthusiasm and care that is put in by every member of the team couldn't be faulted. I will definitely be looking into more treks and experiences with Summit Wild in the future!

Everything was taken care of by Summit Wild so all you had to focus on was getting from A to B and taking in the amazing surroundings you’re faced with every day. I couldn’t recommend Summit Wild enough for anyone interested in trekking in the Himalayas - I’ll definitely be going through Summit Wild again for any future treks I have planned!

From start to finish, my Kilimanjaro trek and safari with Summit Wild was absolutely incredible – without a doubt the best trip of my life. I didn’t have to think about a single thing; every detail was perfectly planned and executed.

Before the trip, Amelia sent me a clear schedule, a comprehensive packing list, and even direct links to the gear I needed to buy. She arranged anything I needed to hire and answered every question I had, always responding quickly and helpfully. Her attention to detail and organisation meant I felt completely calm and safe, knowing exactly what was planned.

When I arrived, I was collected straight from the airport and taken to my hotel – no stress, no confusion. I even got to meet my group in advance on Teams. The guides throughout were knowledgeable, kind, and made me feel so comfortable. On the night before the hike (which also happened to be my birthday!), Amelia arranged a birthday cake – such a thoughtful touch.

She shared so much advice to help me prepare, and my personal favourite, provided us with hot water bottles for the cold nights on the mountain. After completing the trek, I enjoyed a night in a hotel before heading off on a 5-day safari that Amelia had also arranged. The lodges were absolutely beautiful – luxurious, comfortable, and with everything included. All my food and drinks were taken care of for the entire trip, so I could just relax and soak up the experience.

Amelia stayed in contact via WhatsApp the whole time, making sure everything ran smoothly and that I was enjoying myself. I made friends for life on this trip, and I’ll forever be grateful for the memories.

If you’re considering a trek, safari, or any adventure in Africa – I couldn’t recommend Summit Wild more highly. Amelia’s passion, organisation, and care turn an already amazing trip into something truly unforgettable.

In April, myself and my 2 best friends had the most amazing 3 weeks driving around Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe. From the first conversation I had with Amelia to the moment we returned home, every detail was flawlessly handled.

Amelia took the time to understand exactly what we wanted—adventure, remoteness, and a real sense of freedom—and after several tweaks created the most perfect itinerary encompassing everything we wanted into the trip. We were met by a grounds team representative on the first night who provided us with a detailed map and outlined the itinerary again. We then met the grounds team to pick up the car and were taken through a full induction which made us all feel a lot more at ease before driving around the country! All the paperwork and documentation is all handled beforehand making the whole experience very smooth sailing!

What really stood out was the personal touch. It never felt like a “package” trip; it felt like our trip, shaped entirely around our pace, interests, and the kind of wild, off-grid experience we were craving. Every stop was stunning, every camp was memorable, and we walked away with stories we’ll be telling for years!

If you are young, sporty and have less experience with altitude hiking then you are in very good hands with Summit Wild. When I first asked myself whether to book with them, I contacted people on Instagram who had already booked through Summit Wild and every single person gave me amazing feedback. Now I know why. From the very beginning, I felt incredibly well taken care of. A huge thanks to Amelia, who was always quick and kind to respond via email and WhatsApp, making the decision to book so much easier. The airport transfer was smooth, the accommodations before and after the trek were comfortable and well organized, and right at the start we were given a Summit Wild T-shirt, a new water bottle and a Kilimanjaro guidebook, such a thoughtful touch that immediately made a great impression. They even did a duffle bag content check before departure to make sure everyone had the right gear, which gave me extra peace of mind.

What impressed me most was how perfectly everything was organized from the delicious meals to the structured daily schedules. After dinner each evening, the guides also carried out a short medical check which showed how much they truly cared about our health and safety. Summit Wild truly made all the difference, if you are looking for a stress free, well planned and genuinely welcoming Kilimanjaro experience, this is without a doubt the right choice!

From the moment I emailed Summit Wild about doing the Kilimanjaro trek, Amelia was so friendly, helpful and informative. I was provided with a full itinerary about the trek before even confirming anything - which is so so helpful as it gives you an idea of what you’re signing up for before even paying! Amelia also sends you a full kit list which in my opinion is the most important thing as what they recommend really did help with the trek, and never once did I feel like I wasn’t prepared, missing anything or uncomfortable in the gear I had. Amelia was always available to answer my silly questions or book in a call if I needed to discuss anything, even supported me in completing my visa. She made me feel reassured and at ease if I had any anxieties.

Shortly before the trip started, Amelia organised a pre-departure call where I met the other people in my group. I also received a fully personalised itinerary about the trek and included my birthday and the Tarangire National Park Safari which Summit Wild also organised for me! Amelia is really attentive and these small touches really did add to the whole experience.

When I arrived in Tanzania, everything went so smoothly from the airport transfer, to the hotel you stay in pre trek, to meeting the guides. In the briefing with our trek guides, we received a Summit Wild t-shirt, cap and booklet about the trek which included a travel journal!

The trek itself was absolutely amazing and that is down to Summit Wild. The guides, porters and chefs really made the whole experience, I would not have been able to summit without them. Words do not even do the guys justice, the way they treat you and what they do for you every single day gets you through the difficult times in the trek. We were even given a Summit Wild hot water bottle on the cold nights! Amelia would also regularly check in and wish us good luck on Summit night.

I honestly believe that my Kilimanjaro experience would not have been the same if I did not organise it through Summit Wild. We also had an amazing 1 night Safari after Kilimanjaro, which Amelia organised for us. Again, it was the most surreal experience and especially the lodge you stay in on the national park, I couldn’t believe that was my life for the night!! I saw lots of beautiful animals, and Amelia had organised for the hotel to sing happy birthday and bring a cake out for me.

When I got home after the trek, Amelia had sent a picture in a frame (of us with our certificates) with a congratulations card. Receiving this after coming home from the trip of a life time was really lovely and so thoughtful. I cannot recommend Summit Wild and Amelia enough, I will definitely be organising other trips with Summit Wild again.
