Been a couple of times last time ordered fish and chips the batter on the fish was hard and overcooked the peas tasteless chips were ok very dussapointed

Took myself out for a Sunday lunch to sit and read a book, included in my request to be put somewhere quite and chilled and they were more than happy to accommodate.

Lunch was beautifully cooked with lots of sauce options and the staff were brilliant and super friendly.

Bosh! Defeated for the 1st time in my adult life. Sharing platter, plus garlic mushroom side. Left some food because i was bloated! Great quality food, perfect friendly service, great atmosphere. 10/10

Lovely pub and restaurant great service excellent food

What a excellent place to sit n enjoy food that's clearly been prepared and cooked by chefs who know their craft, and then to be served by beautiful young lady is just simply devine,it's your fault if you don't attend and I recommend the ploughman's especially that scotch egg wow x

Being local we thought we would give the Sun Inn a go since it's opening. First time and probably last time.

It was Sunday and fairly busy but not that many eating. The service was slow and erratic.

The Sunday dinner was generally Ok but nothing special.

I had a Ribeye steak that was over cooked as was that of another of our party. We both asked for medium and they were well done. I would have mentioned this had anybody bothered to ask if ours meals were OK! The cherry tomatoes turned out to be one half of a tomato. A few shrivelled mushrooms aswell. The home cooked chips were pretty decent though.

One of our party has the smallest peice of salmon that was barely a mouthful. It was small apparently because it came with prawns?

Generally the food is not good enough to justify the price especially in view of the location.

Fun started when we got the bill. Loads of errors and drinks we didn't have. The "pièce de résistance" was when we queried the £4.95 each for children's ice cream. This was a small blob of ordinary ice cream. The waitress told us that was the price. This was pure extortion and I have paid less for an exotic ice cream in far better restaurants.
