Buyer Beware!!

I bought the SunJoe GTS4002C Cordless Lawn Care System and was delighted with it until I needed to order trimmer line replacement. That was a over year ago and since then I have not been able to use the trimmer. I have called CS several times and been told so many reasons why they are out of stock but it is interesting how they have a double spool of the same mm in stock. It is also very disappointing that they are SO eager to continue to sell new products with two single spools included but they could not care less about their present customers who have bought one or more of their Sun Joe/ Aqua Joe/ Snow Joe products in the past.
What a disappointment.

CAN'T GET REPLACEMENT ON PRODUCT

Can not get replacement on grass trimmer. Have called several times over the past few months and get the same response every time. I'm sorry, but we do not have this in stock at this time. We should have it in 4 to 6 weeks, but they DON'T!!!! Just called again, not she said not till next summer. My grass still grows at this time of year!!!! Last product I will ever buy with this company!!!!

Customer Service is Worthless

I got a pressure washer during a non-profit organization's fundraising silent auction. It was new in the box. When I assembled it, I found the water intake pre-filter was missing.

I emailed Sun Joe requesting the filter, and was told to contact the non-profit and have them replace it. I advised Sun Joe that the item was donated by someone else. They again told me to have the non-profit replace the part and that silent auction items AREN'T COVERED BY THE WARRANTY.

Customer service is the worst. I'm talking about a $4 item that THEY neglected to include. I ended up buying one from Home Depot.

I have a small Sun Joe leaf blower which is OK, but I will never buy another Sun Joe product.

This review only got one star because…

This review only got one star because this site doesn't have 1/4 increments. I purchased a SunJoe leaf blower with a telescoping pole and attachments to clean out your gutters. You couldn't even blow out a candle with this thing. It's force is way too weak. The battery didn't last but 15 - 20 minutes, tops. The telescopic pole operated fine but the actual blower was far less than impressive. I'm disabled and when I saw this product advertised I thought that would solve the problem of cleaning the gutters of my home, a rancher. So, I contacted their customer support department to ask for a refund of the $202.52 I had spent on the unit. After an exchange of over 17 email messages which seemed like I was communicating with extraterrestrials they finally email me a message stating that they don't refund, they can only offer me store credit. WTH

We deserve no-star options

We deserve no-star options. This company is incompetent and they sell poor quality equipment. Who knew plastic could rot? I purchased their leaf mulcher in September 2023, I started using it in November 2023 when after two weeks I noticed white spots popping up on the green plastic. Soon thereafter during use, the force of the vacuum knocked debris into and through the weakened plastic creating a hole and injuring me in the pelvis. I wasn’t going to make a big deal of the injury because my thought at the time was that things happen in the garden. When I wrote to ask for a warranty replacement, I produced all the necessary proof of purchase receipts and codes. After all that, I was told that they were out of stock and that I could sign up for a notification when they were back. Get this, an entire year later, they’re still not back in stock. I called to get a rep from The Philippines on the phone who had no record of my initial case. Go figure! I asked to speak to a Manager and guess what she told me “There are no managers here sir” WTAF. What kind of shitty company is this? NEVER AGAIN! I avoided paying the higher price for a Worx unit. That was a huge mistake. SUNJOE IS TRASH! SUNJOE IS A SCAM COMPANY! BEWARE!

This company is a disaster!! I bought THREE 1
Gallon RECHARGEABLE GARDEN SPRAYERS, registered all three.. even sent one back for replacement
They asked for photos , I sent them, THEY ASKED FOR PROOF OF PURCHASES FROM AMAZON…I SENT THEM….THIS IS GOING ON FOR MORE THAN A YEAR.. THEY DO NOT LIVE UP TO THEIR WARANTEES! All three of these do not charge!

Nope.

I received an electric mower from Sun Joe as a warranty claim in July 2023. In September 2023 the metal mower deck cracked, so I contacted Sun Joe about the warranty. I was told that it was covered under warranty, but the mower I had was out of stock. They said they would notify me when the mower was back in stock so they could send a replacement for the new warranty claim. In September 2024 the mower was still not in stock, so I contacted them to find out what other options I had. They told me the replacement mower was NOT covered by a warranty.

used the 5 inch saw

used the 5 inch saw, and it worked great for awhile and the gearing went bad. It's not a brushless unit, and its not for everyday use, so the gears were stripping and buzzing. emailed the office and already 25 emails later no help for the 2 year warranty. they want you to mail it back and get store credit. they are not helpful at all. but a different small electric saw

SunJoe Dethatcher - Warranty failure

I received a SunJoe 15" 13A Dethatcher / Scarifyer model AJ805E that was purchased from Home Depot in 2023 as a gift. Originally when I received it, I did have the gift receipt, but as my plan was to use the item, as soon as I tested it and confirmed it worked, I discarded that receipt. In the same calendar year, during my 5th time using the product, it smelled like burning and the motor seized. I contacted Sun Joe / Snow Joe / Shop Joe and as others have discovered, without the original receipt, they will do nothing for me. The product worked well while it was working, but being less that one season old and seizing with no backing from the company is pretty disappointing. I would not recommend anyone purchase these products as a gift, solely for personal use and ensure you keep all documentation or they will abandon you.

I have never asked for money back, only a functioning product, or replacement part that I can install myself. Thus far, I have been told I will receive nothing.

Sunjoe Warranty is a Total Disappointment!

Purchased a Sunjoe pressure washer from Home Depot because of the great features, great price point...but mostly because of their fantastic warranty promise. (I also purchased two SnowJoe products the previous winter.) So, I registered this SunJoe SPX3000 XT pressure washer on the ShopJoe warranty website which promises a two-year no hassle warranty. Less than a year later the pressure washer will not start. I contacted ShopJoe and was told that I needed to produce my original receipt in order for them to honour the warranty. I contacted Home Depot and they reproduced my receipt which I forwarded to ShopJoe. I was then told by ShopJoe that they would honour their warranty BUT they did not have my model SPX3000 XT in stock at the moment and they had no idea when it would be in stock. They offered me a LOWER priced, LOWER PSI model if I wanted a replacement immediately, or I could call back in approximately 6 weeks and see if they were in stock. I opted to wait for my exact model replacement or an equal PSI model as a lower priced, lower PSI model is not a "comparable" replacement.
The first time I contacted ShopJoe was in May. It is now September and they still do not have my SPX3000 XT model in stock for my warranty claim and as of today they are still offering me a lesser value, lower PSI model. I am going to accept the lesser value, not comparable model because I am fairly confident at this point in time, that I am never going to receive my replacement or comparable replacement as their warranty promises.

I registered my product with warranty and still need proof of purchase?

My aunt and uncle bought me a Sun Joe lawn set to celebrate the purchase of my new home. It was a gift that they had sent directly to me from Amazon. I registered the products with warranty. The motor goes out on my weed eater. They want me to provide the proof of purchase even though the product is registered and it’s I. The warranty time frame.
This was a gift from a loved one and they want me to ask for the receipt. Why didn’t you ask for receipt when I registered the product?
I’ll never buy another product from them again

Bought a lawnmower through home depot

Bought a lawnmower through home depot. Lasted 4 mows and the engine has a short in it that trips the breakers as soon as it is plugged it. Customer service states I'll be able to get a replacement in 4-6 weeks bc all models are out of stock. It's been 9 weeks and I called again, the gal said my product wasn't registered anymore bc of a system update and it'll be another 4-6 weeks. Now instead of them notifying me by email when it is in stock I have to watch their website and/or call back in 4-6 weeks to see if the model is in stock to start processing the return and replacement. Absolutely horrendous company at this point it is clear the repeat and round and round excuses received there is no warranty that gets completed. The script the people at the call centers are given is minimal and is all they are allowed to say, which is why I heard the exact same lines on all 5 calls I made. Only advice is to not buy sun products.

Despite numerous attempts to contact them regarding an issue with the product, I have received no response. The customer support is virtually non-existent, and the lack of follow-up is incredibly frustrating. I would advise caution when considering products from this brand, as their post-sale support is absolutely inadequate

Terrible product and deplorable customer service

Terrible customer service. My power washer was used once a year for two years and was stored in a dry basement. This year it doesn't start. I emailed them. No reply. I emailed again 10 days later. No reply, so I phoned. Warranty was over 7.5 months ago, but rep said to find my invoice and send it in as they will try their best to help - it sounded very promising so I searched high and low and found it. I sent it in and phoned them. The next rep said no, warranty is over (8 months). Then why ask me to send in my invoice??? What a waste of my time. Two uses and the power washer doesn't work - it makes no sense other than I have a lemon. They also offered to sell me a new one with an extra year of warranty. They don't help with repairs or parts! Do they really think I will buy their products again??? I'll go with a different brand that has a better product and decent support.

Horrible CS

Horrible CS. No one answers phone with message to try again. Web Hours show CS from 8-8 EST, yet another CS number I tried said 8-5 EST. The only consistent thing is they don’t answer either number. this is the second power washer I’ve owned and both have motor issues keep cutting out. With all the bad reviews on products, yet Sam’s Club keep on carrying their products. Who’s the buyer for Sam’s????

No help from Sun Joe Pressure fixing problem after warranty

My Sun Joe Pressure Washer was leaking after warranty period. I wrote to get assistance and replacement parts. They sent me many emails asking me questions on where I bought it, date, price I paid, asking me picture of the model and serial number, etc. Asking me many times the same information. After many emails the answer was buy a new one and we will extend the warranty of you new purchase by one year. No replacement parts possibility, no help fixing the issue. This is the worst customer service experience I ever had

Awful customer service

Awful customer service. I have a valid warranty that SunJoe has in their system on file per my account they have you set up to register and submit receipt for warranty. I did all that. My SunJoe motor went bad. When I called for warranty or repair, they said they couldn’t locate my receipt any longer and said unless I produced it a year later they will not honor warranty!! I reminded them their system shows I submitted and still valid for 6 more months. They said they couldn’t help me unless I produced a receipt again. Shady, just plain shady company. Buyer beware

One star is actually too much for this…

One star is actually too much for this company and their products. I purchased a Sun Joe 28v cordless 14” Brushless Walk Behind mower and used it twice before the screws loosened inside and the blade came loose. There is no way for me to tighten it back up. So it is sitting in the garage taking up space. I tried calling the company because it has a 2 yr warranty. I was put on hold several times and after 20 minutes was hung up on. I have not been able to speak to a live person to help resolve this issue. I’m just gonna consider it a loss and definitely will not buy another product from this company.

Terrible customer service

I purchased an Aquajoe 75’ hose in June of 2023 and registered the product. According to the email the company sent me, my warrant expires on September 28, 2025.
The hose sprung a leak. I attempted to make a claim online but was not able to, as the product was not on the website. I then called. The stated wait time was 8 to 10 minutes but I waited 20. I was asked for my email address and was told I was not in the system. After some back and forth, I was found in the system. I was then told I could get a 50’ hose because the 75’ was on back order. I stated I would wait for the 75’ to come in because that was what I bought and paid for. It was at that point I was told I needed to provide my original poof of purchase. I reiterated I had an email that showed I registered the product. The agent I spoke to, in a very condescending manner, advised all their customers know that it the process.
First, I am sure when I registered this product, I provided proof of purchase. Second, the email I received with the proof of registration did not state that the original receipt had to accompany a warranty claim. It stated the hose was “automatically registered” in their system. Third, the box for the hose, which I kept with the registration, states there is a two year warranty with no questions asked.
Seems that this company just doesn’t stand behind its product and will go to lengths to make sure the warranty is worthless.
