The tent is very nice but during hot summer with wind the tent tend to deform the plestic junction. Sometimes they broke and the tent deform and broke.

It's great in the summer. But this winter we left it standing and when they didn't warn us in advance, 2cm of snow fell in the morning. Unfortunately the dome collapsed and the little white plastic connecting elements broke. The tunnels leading to the stiffening rods broke and in one place the foil too. Unfortunately we have to throw it away.

Never again. Doesnt even take Orders back if it doesnt fit without telling you that he cant give you the full price back. Baddest experience ever. Worse than scammers.

Edit: It wasnt about "transport costs" it was about me wanted to send you back the ordered item cuz it didnt fit. And you only offered a refund what was like 1/3 of the full price. SCAM.

Shipping is very fast and tracking information is good. Product quality is good.

Be careful if you plan to install the dome on a hard surface, the special hard surface kit is not compatible with the transverse reinforcement for large vents. It is impossible to install the transverse reinforcement on a hard surface. Be careful, avoid purchasing the dome if installing on a hard surface. Sincerely.

I believe the pool dome to be a good product on the whole albeit a bit expensive & with a few flaws.
But customer service left me unhappy.
After 5 months of use, I had some breakages of the plastic pole connectors & 2 poles.
& after packing the dome away i noticed all the plastic connectors had a bend in them from the curve of the dome, weakening them.
which I would assume contributed to the breakages.
I didn't use it the next year due to this but eagerly wanted to use it again this year.

I accepted that I would have to buy a few replacement bits so contacted customer service.
customer services started by blaming me for "subjecting the poles to considerable forces" , didn't even comment on the 5 broken plastic joining pieces & told me these poles are discontinued & all replacement parts sold out & advised me to purchase an upgraded pole set instead.
He could have handled it much more professionally but instead the reply came across as, rude & arrogant & got my back up.
Upgraded pole set?
I would guess this is because the old pole set was flawed.
I experienced several breakages in the 5 months of use & poles joined together loosely in the connectors so an upgrade that improves these flaws is wise.

But It seems they washed their hands of the old pole design & customer services opt to do nothing about it but blame you & tell you to buy a new upgrade set.
They even commented with a sarcastic little "ps.. bent plastic pieces don't change their functionality"

Yes it does. The curve tension of the dome bending the plastic pieces so they end up with a permanent curve weakens them obviously.
5 of mine broke & Im sure they were all bent before they snapped.
I was told the discontinued replacement parts sold out & so I guess I'm not the only one to experience them snapping.

If they feel risking their reputation & burning bridges with customers over small issues is good for their business, then good luck to them

I was a fan of sunnytent but after dealing with customer services I would not buy from them again as I believe you will be met with blame the customer mentality & wriggle out of customer service & just advise you to buy parts for problems you face, even small ones

Quick delivery, easy to use website - very clear on extra charges as outside the eu. Live my sunny tent and needed some spare connectors - I think it will be our 4th summer with our tent

However I haven't set up yet (it is January) the delivery time, payment, etc was fluent.

My order arrived very quickly but unfortunately was missing some items. One email to customer service resolved the problem and the missing items were despatch immediately and received within a few days. I cannot praise the customer service I received highly enough. Thank you.

customer service is amazing, speedy ordering process, sent out same morning I ordered. very quick and polite response, free returns for incorrect stuff I ordered.

Customer service is terrible. Their attitude of the customer set it up wrong is awful. Spent a long time arguing with them that they've made assumptions that just aren't true but they don't care. Anything to wiggle out of warranty claims it seems, even ones that amount to £5 worth of parts!
