Second time we've used this company. Can't fault them, (other than to smile a bit more) they where waiting at the airport and picked us up on time. Good communication and vehicles. Would definitely use again, although there not the cheapest

I booked and paid €39.16 for Suntransfers' Premium Transfer service from Malta Airport because I was arriving at approximately 1am in a foreign country and wanted the reassurance, comfort and professionalism of a premium executive transfer.
The service delivered was nothing like the service advertised.
Instead of the premium vehicle I had specifically paid for, we were collected in a very small, uncomfortable and unpleasant vehicle that was completely inconsistent with the premium category being sold. The experience was so poor that I could have obtained a significantly better licensed airport taxi directly outside arrivals for around €20 — approximately half the price.
Following my complaint, Suntransfers admitted in writing that the premium vehicle booked was not supplied and that a substitute taxi had been used due to operational issues.
What I find most disappointing is that communication from the driver was received more than three hours before our arrival, suggesting there was ample opportunity either to source a suitable premium replacement vehicle or simply inform us in advance that the premium service we had paid for would not be provided.
Had they done so, we could have cancelled and arranged our own transport.
Instead, we arrived expecting a premium executive transfer and received something entirely different.
Despite acknowledging that the premium vehicle was never supplied, Suntransfers offered a refund of just €7.83 and then stopped responding to my correspondence.
Mistakes happen. Vehicles break down. Delays occur. What matters is how a company responds when it fails to deliver the service it has sold. In this case, I paid for a premium transfer, the company admits that the premium transfer was not provided, yet the compensation offered did not even reduce the cost to the level of a standard airport taxi.
Based on both the transfer itself and the way the complaint was handled, I would not use Suntransfers again and cannot recommend their Premium Transfer service.
UPDATE FOLLOWING COMPANY RESPONSE:
Suntransfers have now publicly responded to this review. However, their response does not address the central issue that their own customer service team acknowledged in writing: the premium vehicle I booked and paid for was not supplied, and a substitute taxi was used instead due to operational issues on their side.
The complaint was never about whether transport to the hotel was completed. We could easily have obtained a licensed airport taxi directly outside Malta Airport arrivals for approximately €20 — around half the amount we paid Suntransfers — and likely travelled in a newer and more comfortable vehicle.
The reason we paid extra for a Premium Transfer was because we were arriving at approximately 1am in a foreign country and wanted the reassurance, professionalism, comfort and quality associated with an executive transfer service. Unfortunately, that is not what was delivered.
I also provided evidence showing that communication from the assigned driver was received more than three hours before our arrival in Malta. This suggests there was sufficient time either to source a suitable premium replacement vehicle or to notify us in advance that the premium service booked would not be available. Had we been informed, we could simply have cancelled and arranged our own transport.
Despite acknowledging that the premium vehicle was never supplied, Suntransfers offered a refund of just €7.83 on a €39.16 booking. After raising the additional points above and providing supporting evidence, I received no further substantive response and the matter was effectively closed.
I stand by my review and will allow other travellers to draw their own conclusions from the facts.

We used SunTransfers from Malaga airport, 6 adults and 2 kids, the premium van with kids car seats was fantastic, driver met us at the meeting point , was polite and friendly and the Mercedes van was fantastic very comfy lots of space

Friendly driver and nice coach but long wait
Positives were the very friendly driver and the clean and comfy small coach. However we had to wait nearly an hour for it to arrive. Also we had to keep walking up and down the bus rank looking for coach 122 as there was no way of knowing in the waiting area which coaches had arrived.

Have used suntransfers for years. Reliable drivers polite friendly and transport vehicles clean tidy and spacious. Prices excellent and we have never been let down. Easy to make changes to booking if needed

As a long-standing customer of Suntransfers, this review is particularly disappointing to write.
For this trip, I paid for a premium minivan. What arrived was an old, heavily worn vehicle with significant external damage that bore little resemblance to what most customers would reasonably expect from a premium service.
The air conditioning was also not functioning properly despite temperatures exceeding 30°C, making the journey extremely uncomfortable for the entire family.
The situation deteriorated further when the driver advised that he needed fuel but was unable to obtain authorisation from his manager. We were then delayed at a petrol station for approximately 20 minutes while he attempted to secure payment for fuel. Being delayed during an airport transfer because a driver does not have sufficient fuel or authorisation to purchase it is not something any customer should experience.
Following the journey, I raised a formal complaint with Suntransfers. I expected the matter to be taken seriously.
Instead, for the return journey, the company sent the same driver and the same vehicle. That decision alone demonstrated a complete disregard for the concerns that had been raised.
The return transfer concluded with a further issue at Faro Airport. Rather than using an appropriate drop-off location, the driver stopped on the main road. While unloading our luggage, he was approached by police after stopping in what appeared to be a bus lane. My young children witnessed the interaction and became distressed, believing that we had done something wrong.
What disappoints me most is not that things went wrong. Problems can occur in any business. What matters is how a company responds when they are made aware of them. In this case, I reported multiple serious concerns, only for the company to repeat exactly the same service failure on the return journey.
After many previous bookings, I can no longer recommend Suntransfers based on this experience. The vehicle quality, operational standards, complaint handling and customer care all fell well below expectations.
Unfortunately, this will be my last booking with the company.
