Avoid at All Costs: A Regretful Experience with Superchat
Do NOT use Superchat; you will regret it. This service is a terrible choice for customer communication on WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram. Their sales team relentlessly pushes you to sign up for their subscription, imposing steep fees before you’re even onboarded or have the product integrated into your business. Once they have your card details, support becomes nearly nonexistent, and they disappear while locking you into a 12-month contract.
The onboarding call felt rushed, with the agent more focused on upselling additional services than actually getting the product to work for us.
Additionally, they lack a native integration with Shopify, forcing you to rely on a third-party app. There are far better options available that won’t put you through this hassle.
I’ve initiated multiple chargebacks for every charge incurred before onboarding and have since canceled the service. I will also be reporting them to Meta and urge anyone who has experienced similar tactics from Superchat to take action.

We’ve had a fantastic onboarding experience with Superchat. Emily and Claas have both been incredibly supportive throughout the entire process.
They didn’t just walk us through the basics, they really took the time to show us the full potential of the platform and how it can be implemented practically within our business. Sales team were all over us and promised us the world then as soon as we signed up and transferred the money, they disappeared off the face of the earth and wouldn’t return our emails. Cancelled now within the 30day cooling off period and refund requested.

We found Superchat initially quite helpful during installation, however the experience quickly deteriorated once we began trialling the system internally.
During the trial period, the service went down completely due to an issue with WhatsApp and remained offline for 8 days. Superchat repeatedly blamed this on an alleged non-payment of a Meta bill, which was simply not true. The payment was pending and due to be taken at the end of the billing cycle, as per standard Meta billing. This explanation was incorrect and deeply frustrating.
What concerned us most was the lack of accountability. Every issue was deflected back to Meta, with no ownership taken by Superchat themselves. Despite demanding a clear explanation and reassurance that this would not happen again, neither were ever provided. Customer service during this period was extremely poor.
Thankfully, we were only trialling the system on one number. Had this been fully rolled out across our business, the downtime could have cost us thousands of pounds.
To make matters worse, the contract operates on a continuous card payment authority, meaning cancellation is not straightforward. Despite the service failure and lack of support, we are now being required to pay the full 12-month contract, even though the system has not been used.
Overall, a very disappointing experience. The product may look promising on the surface, but the reliability, customer service, and contract structure raise serious concerns.

Tried to use superchat. Worked well for a few weeks. Stopped working and Superchat blamed it on Meta. No help or assistance for weeks to try and resolve the issues. Tied in for 12 months they say, nothing they can do. Unacceptable customer service. Avoid at all costs.

We've been using Superchat for over a year now. Possibly the best tool for WhatsApp comms. Marcus has been beyond helpful - guided us on automations and how to maximise our reach.

Poor
Poor customer service, tied in for a year contract (read the small print!) so effectively once we realised the platform did not serve intended purpose, we were stuck paying for a monthly subscription for a year.
Now, several requests to delete our account properly - have gone unanswered.
The promised onboarding at the start was non-existent.
All in all, poor experience.
I would not recommend.
