A simple code check to prevent alleged tutors from countering with a session in the past is to check current time before posting. Please save others the same headache.

Beware scammers
I came in looking for an at home teacher, I found one, contacted with detailed request and specific dates, accepted with a "generic" reply showing she didn't even read my message, only to counter-propose a time slot in the PAST! and saying she doesn't go to homes anymore. And of course all the while I got charged for a stupid "Student Pass" before even getting any service, and obviously for a service I will no longer pursue. Support? Non-existent. Stay away

I got genuine students who were sincere about their studies and they were hard working.

tutor was a fake. I reported it, reported also that has moved to another category (sewing to tap dance). Still getting AI to respond that someone will get back to me... That a human will look into it. No one and now a feedback request. The site is not safe, you have no recourse to really know if fake. I got scammed and still trying to get my money back from a tutor pkg class that do not exist. My worry now is that whomever doing this has my information. Frustrated, disappointed, angry . Be very careful when hiring a tutor from this site. You do not have a safety net nor much way to verify. I am sure some are good and real connections but there are a lot of fake and Superprof not doing much to stop. They will charge you a membership and you are on your own so do you home work. Lots of fake profiles and scams...

1. Easy and very fast to find a good teacher.
2. Convenient to pay to teacher for tuition fee.
3. Answer my questions very quickly and clearly and patiently by email.
4. Webcam is good for online learning.

Horrible - I reached out to 4 tutors who said their reply time was 24 hours, 3 did not reply and 1 who did after 3 days said they would accept tutoring and then would not confirm a proposed session. I was charged the 49$ subscription even though no session was booked. Had to open a Paypal dispute to get it refunded. I wasted hours on this. Appears that anyone can post as a Tutor without vetting or accountability to be available.

The tutors I have hired through Super prof have been organised, and professional.
