Norton Support IGNORE ENDING FREE TRIALS

I have not had a reply from you re my last email to you. (above)
This is unacceptable to me - as it would be to you also.
I am writing now to let you know that the last device on which I put your Norton 360 30-day trial version was a renewed laptop from Amazon which proved to be defective so I have returned it to Amazon and was not able to do a factory reset to wipe al my apps off the machine (including your Norton 360 product) and so it may appear at your end as if I am still using the Norton 360 product on that machine until Amazon wipes the machine clean.
I am not.
I have accountably let you at Norton know (see my above several emails to you) that I AM DISCONTINUING with any Norton products as of the 9th February 2026 (10 days before the end of the 30-day trial on the 19th February 2026) and, as such, no monies are due from me to NORTON ON THE 19th February 2026.
I have uninstalled your Norton Product from my two other devices and let your questions re why tell you why i am no longer staying with NORTON SO YOU HAVE ALL THAT CLEARLY TOLD TO YOU AND RECORDED AT MY END..
I have, as well, blocked my debit card from being allowed to have ANY monies paid to Norton on the 19th February 2026 ,or on any other date, at my bank.
In this experience, of you Norton, refusing to answer my several emails to your Norton Support, (above) you, Norton, have demonstrated you are willing to act unprofessionally and without due care to the nor mal courtesy needed to be offered to ALL your clients - potential as well as actual.
As a result, I will now buy from a more reliable Virus Protection Company.

I HAVE JUST SEEN IN MY BANK STATEMENT THAT NORTON TOOK £34 OUT OF MY ACCOUNT ON THE 20TH FEBRUARY 2026.
I EMAILED YOU AT NORTON SUPPORT SEVERAL TIMES (SEE PREVIOUS EMAILS) TELLING YOU CLEARLY I WAS UNINSTALLING THE NORTON 360-PLUS PRODUCT FROM MY THREE DEVICES BEFORE THE END O0F THE 30 FREE TRIAL PERIOD ENDED ON THE 19/2/2026.
NORTON HAVE TAKEN MONIES OUT OF MY ACCOUNT AGAINST MY EXPLICIT (IN TIME) INSTRUCTIONS.
THIS IS THEFT, AT LAW.
NORTON HAVE ALSO NOT REPLIED TO ANY OF THE EMAIL SENDS IN PREVIOUS EMAILS.

Sadly, I cannot recommend Norton as it is impossible to contact a human when a problem arises. Answering my specific question, the Chatbot was useless. Norton had whipped away my renewal payment weeks before expiry, I cancelled the subscription immediately, but Norton hasn’t reimbursed with similar haste. I can only hope that the refund will arrive eventually. Their behaviour just seems immoral.

Norton sells you ultimate package and then say you need an upgrade…
So I was attacked the guy was released my phone began to magnify the screen when in certain areas.. the guy had had access to both phone and network.. bought Norton package plus to stop any hackwork
That was May @ £28.98 for Norton AntiVirus Plus
For phone and PC
It helped reduce the zoom a little so at least i could manage to use the phone
Then on catch up day I installed on PC and got charged £84.99
I was a bit confused made an enquiry.. case number 95055355.. money was refunded .. you buy from Apple you buy from Norton confusion - they said the apple purchase did not cover phone and pc.. my email confirmation of purchase said it did.. anyway
Smart Scan in September made me wonder if I was protected at all.. apparently I needed an update to buy an update... but this was supposed to be ultimate package.
Now they want me to give them more money.. the package was bought in May.. we are still January

Never ever buy this product and expect a good support i cancelled my auto renewal and still they took the money 89.99 out of my account and now im asking for a refund i have had 8 calls from 01200 number which is norton but they never talk. Its a shocking support and i will never use again once i have my money back
Deranged customer service like most companies
The same as all companies now where they are trying to send you insane being subjected to speaking to AI or a foreigner who takes 10 minutes between me sending a message and them replying, we should all boycott any company that treats customers like cattle. It is totally unacceptable to be forced to live this way. It is like living in an asylum these days trying to do the simplest of things.

The nanny state has a new champion
The nanny state has a new champion. Norton under SAFE WEB decides what internet sites you can visit, and if you have previously used a site for a decade, suddenly you find you cannot use it as their Stalinist programme decides it is "Malvertising", is on a black list or whatever. I turned off "safe web" but will have to keep turning it off as they do not allow a permanent disabling.
Norton 360 causes my computer to reboot

I've shown them how it's one of their files causing the issue - this goes ignored each and every time.
Even speaking with second level support leads them to running exactly the same check with Windows and nothing with their own product.
At least Amazon we're gracious to give me a refund Norton seem intent to keep me going around in circles.
Don't allow remote access
For some reason the system wouldn't record the security code for my credit card. When I tried to rectify matters on their chatline I made the fatal mistake of allowing remote access to the operator. Not only did he fail to correct the fault but he messed up all my systems and I had to get someone in to rectify matters
Incorrect billing
In September I advised Norton that they were incorrectly billing me for their service as I didn't use Norton anymore but I couldn't log into my account as no longer had access to the e-mail address that was on my account.
They apologised and refunded the amount. Roll forward a month and they have again debited me. Tried to contact through chat and no joy - the prompts are auto generated and didn't get the answer I needed.
I am now going to have to dispute the transaction with my credit card company and fight for my money back.....rubbish customer service
Manipulative service
Very poor. Norton keeps on trying to scare people, by saying how this PC is in danger of viruses if you don't subscribe. Also, they keep on sending annoying popups, large ones on the bottom right screen.

I used your chat support to help recover backed up photo files from an external drive.
I was connected to Nitin K who I regretfully now allowed to takeover my brand new laptop. He was NOT able to resolve the issue.
However, he did trash my new laptop, changing many things, including my display appearance, text size and fonts ( my vision is not good so I have my setting adjusted accordingly.) e also uninstalled my current version of Norton and put an older version on.
Worse yet he indicate in the chat he would escalate the issue then disconnected, leaving me with a mess. I’m especially irritated due to it being a new expensive machine that I just configured to my needs. This without resolving my issue.
The problem is I have our family photos in a file on a Samsung 1TB external HD via N360 Backup, it is not a whole backup set, merely just some critical files backed up. It was done on an older laptop and older version of norton. I simply want to recover the photos… I relied on Norton to safeguard these irreplaceable photos , looks like a very poor choice now…
Her’s what I want & expect. 1) return my laptop to the configuration it was in before Nitin began. 2) get me access to the photo files I backed up with your product. I have been a Norton and lifelock customer for a very long time. However, after todays experience I will be looking at other alternatives if expeditious resolution to this norton support disaster if not provided forthwith.
