Bought nearly 15 fingerprint devices which today is not compatible with Biostar 2 and also no possibilties to extend current infrastructure with previous devices - because they are not produced anymore. Migration from biostar to biostar 2 also is not possible.
I was recommended Suprema biomini slim, as fingerprint scanner for the Company. The test on Windows 7 worked well. But shortly after, the Company upgraded to Windows 8 64 Bit (and later Windows 10) and while the product page says Windows, it apparently doesn't Work on 8.1 64 Bit and 10 64 Bit, which makes all our units useless. We contacted Suprema, but they do not want to make a 64 Bit driver for their hardware. With this level of poor support, I would not recommend buying from Suprema, as they might have the same poor support of future products.
