Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 87 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Customers frequently mention charges appearing on their bank statements for recurring subscriptions they did not recall authorizing or agreeing to during online loan searches. Many consumers note that cancellation attempts are extremely difficult, as emails are routinely ignored and websites fail to provide functional login credentials or working cancellation tools. Individuals express concerns about terms that lead to automatic enrollment into monthly fees without clear prior notification. Some reviewers were happy with receiving prompt assistance, refunds, or confirmation of successful cancellations when they finally managed to speak directly with customer service representatives.

Fraudulent

I recently entered my card details into a legitimate loan company to explore options for a loan. I was not informed nor did I consent to this banking information being provided of sold to third parties like Sure Credit, however I had still been registered on a 2 week free trial and charged £24.95 to my Nationwide debit card. Luckily the bank flagged this request as fraud and I was not charged, however I was still notified of the attempt, and as I have never heard of sure credit before I do not have any login details to cancel the membership and have instead had to request that the bank flagged all future requests from sure credit as fraud and that sure credit be reported to the Financial Conduct Authority should requests continue.

Very poor service

Very poor service. I got a loan and they informed me I had to get this as part of the agreement. I wasn’t aware I would be charged for this, and I thought it was a one off check. Very sneaky way of getting money from people for what is, truly a pointless service!!! Wouldn’t refund my £24.99 due to a 14 day cooling off period which is shocking when it’s not clear they will be charging you. Bad company, do NOT go any where near them!

Absolute scam

Absolute scam! Out to get people in hard times, disguised as “payday loan brokers” you apply for a loan, that doesn’t exist then instead of getting your small loan, mine was for £50 to get medication for my son, I was refused a loan and charged £24.95 two weeks later, definitely never accepted that.
Then when you phone the customer services, you get a very dodgy call to an overseas person, potentially AI as we went round in circles. Then they abruptly hang up with no resolve. How do places like this still exist!! I will pursue this until the leadership team are behind bars! Disgusting ethics from scum!!
