No notice of additional charges forduty

The products seemed great online. I haven’t seen any of them in person. However, they should warn you about the tariffs that you’re going to have to pay coming into the United States. You can’t tell from the website where the product is coming from. I had to pay $28 in addition to the $20 that I paid for shipping on an item that cost $55. They should calculate the duty and let you know in advance how much it’s going to cost.

Beware of hidden costs, poor communication, and zero accountability.

I placed an order with Susmie’s for $166. When the package arrived, I was suddenly told I had to pay an additional $78 by check for “tariffs.” This was never clearly disclosed at checkout, and the extra charge amounted to nearly HALF the cost of my original order — completely unreasonable.

I refused the delivery and immediately contacted the company requesting a refund. Their response? They claimed my package was now “being held at customs” and that I would receive NO refund whatsoever.

They then directed me to a tiny line of text buried on their website stating that tariffs are not included. While I understand tariffs may apply, charging an extra $78 after the fact, with no transparency or warning, is unacceptable and misleading.

This feels deceptive and predatory. Customers should not be blindsided with massive hidden fees and then punished for refusing to pay them. I strongly caution anyone considering ordering from this brand — beware of hidden costs, poor communication, and zero accountability.

Buyer Beware - Tarrif fees not disclosed

Ordered a $70 top with a $20 shipping fee. Upon delivery UPS required a $43 tariff fee. If not paid it is considered abandoned and you don't get refunded. No tariff fee disclosed. Unbelievable they don't book the tariff into the price and have us chose to buy at the real price.

I have had a very disappointing…

I have had a very disappointing experience with Susmies regarding refunds.
I placed two orders:
The first one was returned over a month ago, but I still have not received any refund.
The second order was never delivered due to an incomplete address (not my fault) and was sent back to Submies — again, no refund issued.
In total, I am still owed around €200, and despite waiting for more than a month, there has been no resolution or payment.
Customer support has not solved the situation so far, and I am extremely frustrated with the lack of reliability and communication.
I hope this review helps get proper attention to this issue and finally leads to a fast refund.

Invest in a different colorful scarf

Invest in a different colorful scar (the fluffy ones) It’s paper thin when you expect a thicker fluffier feel. The colours are fairly accurate but it’s ridiculous how thin and poorly made it is, and for over 80 euros! It does not feel like quality material at all. Plus it itches. I‘d go for a different brand.

Overpriced & Low-Quality

I bought the Isabela Top. When it arrived, I was shocked...the top had a very strong unpleasant smell, the seams were messy and even incorrectly sewn. The fabric was also cut crooked. I also find 66 euros far too expensive for polyester, especially considering the poor workmanship. I honestly don’t think the top would have lasted long anyway, as the seams already looked like they would start fraying quickly. On top of that, the product is made in Turkey, where working conditions are often difficult and workers earn very low wages. For 66 euros, I really didn’t expect such cheap quality. I definitely won’t be ordering from Susmies again.

Only after I explicitly invoked my consumer rights and cited the relevant legal provisions did the support respond appropriately. In Spain, consumers also have the right to repair, replacement, price reduction, or contract cancellation when a product is defective. That I had to remind customer service of these basic rights makes the entire purchase even more disappointing.

Hidden import fees

This company was not transparent about their unexpected import fees ($50) on top of their $20 shipping fees. They need to let the buy know up front that the fees are a possibility at least rather than letting UPS send threatening emails that look like scam emails.

Avoid this company if ordering from overseas

I ordered two sets and wasn’t made fully aware from the website as to how extortionate the Import Duty costs were which were 50% on top of the cost of my order. Susmies advised me to refuse the UPS parcel when it turned up and that they would have it re delivered back and would offer me a refund.
It seems that now they have said they are unable to recur the costs as they are a small business and so my parcel is deemed as now lost. I have now spent a lot of time and money with nothing to show.
So if you are from anywhere outside US, think very carefully about import duties as it wasn’t (but now is!) made fully transparent on the website and I’ve ended up with nothing which in UK law is illegal as I should be entitled to a full refund. A shambles of a company so I would avoid unless you want to throw money away.

insane shipping delay

Not transparent on huge shipping cost

Boughg a skirt for $117. They charged my cc $133 then UPS wanted $70 for cod shipping. I complained they said tariffs.
But nobody else is doing this. I just bought from Zara and did t go through this
